My girlfriend is late on her period. We have done 2 pregnancy tests and both have been negative. Her last period came 2 weeks early, and she has taken the morning after pill last month. We are both worried but can we rule pregnancy out? We have dabbled a few times on unprotected, but it only went in a few times and didnt't carry on. Any advise?

first of all even dabbling a few times unprotected and not carrying on can result in pregnancy. The morning after pill is not 100 percent either. My first pregnancy test was negative, but the second positive a week later. Saying that there could be other reasons to why she is late. I would advise you to take a test at the doctors as these are more accurate. Different medication can affect a womans cycle causing them to be early and late. For future reference, and from personal experience - always use protection. Your not safe even for a minute.

Stress can delay her period... for example.. the stress of worrying that you're pregnant! That's happened to me more than once! lol!
Plus the morning after pill can affect a period but to be 100% certain I'd go down the doctors and get a blood test done to rule out pregnancy.

You can't rule pregnancy out, but it sounds like her periods are irregular, so it may be nothing to worry about. Stressing about it may delay it even longer....it two tests came out negative, just be patient. If you don't want a baby...no more 'dabbling' unprotected!

Stress can effect a woman's cycle. Not all pregnancy test prove to be accurate. Only time will tell buddy. Don't worry everything happens for a reason. I wish you both the best.

I hate to say this but some people can have periods all through pregnancy and although pregnancy test kits have improved, if you have doubts she should go to her doctor for a pregnancy test to be on the safe side.

Does she have a history of irregular periods? Has she been undrer alot of stress, or had something in her life change recently? Sometimes that can cause women to be early or late. It's not a bad idea to have her see her doctor anyway...to rule out pregnancy or other problems.

well wait and do another test in a week in the morning if her period still hasn't come the morning after pill could have put her out of shedule. if your still worried go to the doctors. next time please use a rubber and prevent any more hassle like this again

It could jsut be that her period is screwy but it also could be that she's pregnant & it's too early to catch on a HPT. I would go to the doc & have a blood test done. Jsut to be sure. Oh yeah & it only takes going in once to get preggy. Pre ejaculation can produce babies.

Unless you want a baby, stop with the unprotected sex. take it from me. if you have a lucky escape this time, your next may not be. tests are pretty good these days but unless her periods are regular, you cant really be sure of the exact days.

the morning after pill can screw up your cycle. you should get your period 2-3 weeks after taking the morning after pill, if you don't call the place where you got the pills.
