there are several things you must consider. if your bf does not want to use a condom with you, then that is a good sign he did not use them with his past sexual partners. now granted that a condom is used to prevent conception, but let's also remember that it is used to prevent the spread of a STD. now if he is not willing to be responsible enough to do his part to prevent an unwanted pregnancy or giving you a STD that he might not even know he has, you really need to find another bf. i know this is not the advice you were seeking, but at least i'm not telling you to not have sex, just find someone that is on the same page as you about birth controll. and also one who is willing to protect you and the relationship.

Ok look, if your bf doesn't want to use a condom and obviously you're pretty serious about who you sleep with if its been that long (unless you were in jail or something), then maybe you should take another look at this guy. Will he not respect you enough to strap one on anyway?
If this guy is ok-or if you want to ignore that answer- then if you are on the pill also get the foam. It's about as efficient as a condom (which is only 30%) and you squirt it inside you, it's spermacide. I don't remember the name of it, but if you look up spermicides on a search engine you're sure to find some hope.
Anyway, there's also sponges, and female condoms. There are all sorts of birth controls. There's even the IUD, or the Ovule Ring and whatever.
By the way, people can get pregnant even when their tubes are tied, that's why in all honesty, Abstinence is the only 100% sure way of not getting pregnant. As goes dry sex/humping, sperm can swim ladies. Panties have holes and if yours is open.....1+1=3.

First don't feel pressured, not only is pregnancy an issue but what about STD's? Have you both been checked and are free and clear? You also want to start your birth control at least 30 days, ( a whole pack of pills) before you have unprotected sex. That should be enough time for the pills to get in your system and get working. If you are that concerned talk to your doc. Why such a low dose? There is plenty to choose from maybe talk over some more options with your healthcare provider. Good luck and be safe.

Female condoms could work, but birth control is your best bet. Other than that, don't have sex. That's 100% effective. There's no guarantee with sex, so if you want to have sex, you have to know the risks. And tell that boyfriend of yours that you're not gonna "give it up" till he will take some responsibility for his end. Think about all the other girls he's slept with and didn't use a condom. He needs to get tested before you just have sex on birth control. You could get an STD, which is not worth it. Good luck!

Iam so not trying to be gross but have you talked about using other holes. Some people think it is gross but My husband and I really enjoy it. It really does feel good But take your time cuz it can be painfull if you dont go slow at first and lub that big boy up. There are other birth controls out there you mit want to look around for some thing that has a better % on working.

Having sex is a natural part of life. Don't be scared, be prepared. Use birth control and condoms. Take care of yourself and you will be fine. Try to enjoy it and not worry about. If you are too scared or nervous, than it will be more like a chore than a great experience. If you cover all the bases, than there's nothing to be afraid of. Be careful and have fun.

If you are concerned that you might get pregnant with that lower form of hormonal birth control you might request a stronger birth control. But Why won't he take a little responsibility? Condoms might decrease sensation, but for younger males this isn't a bad thing, it makes them not be so stinking fast.

Don't have sex IS real advice. That is the only confirmed way not to get pregnant. That being said, the more preventative you are, the better, because not one form of BC (with the exception of abstinence) is 100% effective. I would MAKE him wear a condom and take the BC. Better safe than sorry....

I would use a contraceptive foam, as well as the pill...also, it's not just pregnancy that you should be worried about...there are so many STD's out there...unless you accompany him to the doc and see the test results for him I would make him use a condom.
