I know many of you will say "see your doctor" but with no insurance and the free clinic in my area is a JOKE, this is hard. Please tell me what you think. Before anyone gets judgemental, my boyfriend and I have been together 2 years...
I started my period on July 1st. The next one didn't show until Aug 11th. I took 2 hpt that both came up negative. I know every pregnacy is different but with my son after being late 3 days, the hpt was very clearly positive. I have had 2 periods since both regular. My question is this: My lower stomach has started to "pouch". I have had no pregancy symptoms what so ever. My day is normal, I sleep good, eat well balanced meals (with a splurg of chocolate once in a while). I have been under a lot of stress due to finances and custody with my 5-year-old. Could this cause my "pouch"? Any ideas would be helpful. Again, keep in mind I have no insurance & little $ right now. Unless someone knows where I can go in mid-Michigan for little $. Thnx

My best friend is returning to work tomorrow, after 7 months maternity leave and isn't happy! I would like to send her a care package that will help her take advantage of good things about going back to work. I am not sure what sort of things to include (not having had this experiance myself). Any ideas for things that I should include?

I think this would help to curb the teenage pregnancy trend where girls think having a baby is easier than working. There have been documentaries and these are the words of real teenage mums! I think if we only handed out benefits once girls are over a certain age, it would make them think twice. Do you agree? I am in the UK by the way.

Ok my son goes to his dad's house everyother weekend. Well today my son's father called me to pick our son up early, no big deal then he told me our son had a accident at the bowling alley were he split his finger wide open (4 stitches). Ok instead of taking him to the ER he wanted me to pick him up.(I made him go to the ER) Because he didn't have any insurance on him so he thought they wouldn't take him.
My question is is this really stupid for him to do call me instead of taking him to the ER and paying the bill.

I am 36 weeks pregnant and I posted earlier that I was having sharp little pains in my pelvic area and back pain. I was having braxton hicks that were 15 min. apart but they seem to have slown down. I had spotting a couple of days ago and my doc. told me that I was starting to soften and thin out. However, now Im not sure if Im leaking or not. It feels as if little air bubbles are coming out of my vagina. I check and it feels a little moist but nothing like its coming out everywhere. It feels a little wet though when the air bubbles come out. Im still hurting down there with the sharp pains and my back is still hurting. I havent noticed myself loosing a mucus plug yet..dont you have to lose that first before you leak? Anyway, any help would be appreciated. I am going to the doc. this week but I was wondering till then or if I should go to the hospital and have this checked out now.

I wanted to stop breast pumping after four months. I was pumping four times a day. I stopped pumping on 9/30 cold turkey and on 10/1, I had to pump after 36 hours of not pumping. My breasts were so tender and engorged that I was about to cry. I couldn't even hold my baby close to me.

Can I stop pumping and let nature take its course and just pump when engorged or is it better to continue to pump but only once a day and then every other day as a gradual decline?

1.) SWELLING---My left leg and ankle is swollen WAY more than the other. I had a C section on Wed night. Calling the doc tomorrow but just looking for some input. I have elevated it for HOURS and tried laying on both sides and nothing seems to help.

2.)ENGORGMENT--- my milk came in today and I need some effective ways to relieve pressure. I AM breastfeeding every 1-3 hours it is just painful between feedings

3.) SORE NIPPLES--- I know it is normal to have sore nipples when you begin to breastfeed but with my first son they would burn and hurt for about a minute on each breast for 4 MONTHS and with this baby he is only 4 days old but I want to know if there is anything i can do/use to help relieve the pain. I really want to breastfeed and the nurses say he is latching on correctly so I am lost!

Could it really be true?! Could this be why I feel bloated often and have been trying to lose the last 10 pregnancy pounds for four months?! My daughter is 7 months old, and I dropped all but ten in the first three months... before I got my second dose of Depo Provera! I keep increasing my exercise and tweaking my diet here and there. It's not even a diet, I just eat healthy natural foods!
I'm getting pretty depressed about this, should I go off this birth control even though I love everything else about it? Or is it my fault that I can't lose this weight?!

I read in a book that it's good to give to my baby rice cereal, then oatmeal and barley cereal, but I went to Wal-mart to look for barley cereal, and they don't sell it! I'd really like to buy some, I used to love it as a child, where could I get some? (I apologize if I sound ignorant, I've never seen this kind of cereal here in USA... I'm from Central America)

To all that responded to my question... Don't be silly to think that only the IVF will be paid, I thought it would be logic knowledge. ALL RELEVANT expenses will be paid, including clothing etc etc. But will not "rent" a womb! Thanx to the nice poeple out there for you responses!!!

My last baby died during labor. They do not know why. I want another someday but am afraid of going through this again. I always follow all advice from my doctor but want to know if there is anything additional that I can do to ease my mind in my next pregnancy. Do doctors do planned c sections in high risk pregnancy? Are there heart monitors that actually work at home? My last one did not. What else can I do so I do not go crazy with worry those 9 months?

Al RELEVANT costs will be covered by us, like the IVF procedures ect. A legal contract will be used to "cover" and to put both parties at ease. We have tried surrogacy twice before, but we lost the babies in the first term, no medical reasons were found for this. I truly believe that we WILL have our own bundle of joy and would like to try again as soon as possible. However it is quite hard to find a surrogate or a surrogate couple with no intentions. NO expenses will be for that of the surrogate! If you think you are a candidate or would like to help please let me know. Thank you & God bless.

My wife is spending thousands of dollars on re-doing our toddlers room and getting new stuff for the new baby.. Cuz she’s pregnant. I think she should spend the money on beer for me. Which do u think is more important? I think my beer and she says that its her money anyways so she can spend it on whatever she wants too, cuz I don’t work… but she’s a plastic surgeon so why should I work.. She makes a lot of money. shes at like 5,oo dollars right now. thats a lot of beer i could have.What do u think should happen here?

My daughter is 26 months old and broke her arm so I have been really laid back with her, which now I regret. But she isn't going to bed before midnight now and she's not taking naps. And she's sleeping till 11 am or later. How can I get her back on track, in bed by 8:00-8:30

THis month instead of bleeding, i got 2 days of spotting. I did have sex 10 days before my period was due, and it was unprotected, I am on birth control and i missed the days after we sex, other then that i was pretty regular that month. I have been very lazy on this before,and even during ovualtion I never got pregnant. Im not saying its impossible, i just would think it would be harder, since i wasnt ovulati. I've been on the pill for exactly a year this month. And i never had a problem with spotting, it always came the tuesday of the last week in september, and this month it didnt. It came in spotting form. The days before my period i did have cramping that was alittle irregular for me, It was sharp pains. But it wouldnt last long, or end up being to unbearable. On the day that my spotting started, i became naseas, and very tired. I dont know if this has something to do with the fact that im spotting. I know i should see a doc. but has this happended to u, or do have any sugestions
