I hemorraged during delivery of my baby, and was wondering if any anyone else has and how did they feel afterwards? It has really traumatised me. I lost around 1.5 litres of blood on top of the usual amount. Is this much? i thought i would of been cuddling me new baby but Suddenly the delivery room was full of nurses yelling and putting drips in me and they were pushing on my stomach so hard it was all bruised afterwards. There was blood running off the bed leaving blood puddles all over the floor. It really shocked me, i wasnt prepared for that at all.
has anyone else felt the same way as i do?

She eats, seemingly alot more now, with not alot of spitup, poops ok, about twice a day, we're giving her gas drops, but she won't stop crying. She seems tired but won't sleep. She's not spoiled by being held because she is still fussy being held. She likes to be held vertical, not horizontal, and laid on her belly, sometimes, because other times she still cries. Car rides put her to sleep, but the second the car stops, she wakes up again. Also her swing and bouncy seat are not pleasing her. Can anyone help on this topic?!

I am at my parents house for the night and I put the baby to sleep, but they are trying to be quiet and they are failing and I keep telling them to be a little quieter and stuff very calmly and nice, but I want to SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM, cause I do not want him to wake up. They are banging and just being so f-ing loud. They do not understand that even though the door is closed, you can still hear stuff and my baby wakes up from this. What do I do?

Hey guys. I have a three month old daughter and I guess the relationship with his parents have changed. There has been two times while we were over at their house I asked to have my daughter and change her because she was dirty. She told me no and that the baby could go the bathroom again in them.. I was upset and my husband didn't say anything or stick up for me.

Then I guess when my daughter is over there, she is always sick, either an upset tummy or a stuffy nose.. but she is never sick or anything with me. She put Adults Vicks on my daughter and that upset me I asked her not to and she said that she is going to do it anyway. Again, my husband wasn't sticking up for me again, then we went over there a few days later and let her have the baby over night and when we came to pick her up she said that she again put vicks on the baby!! but this time she got baby vicks.

Then Halloween his parents picked out the costume and I didn't have a say in it, and I told my husband that I want

I read this suggestion in a book. Supposedly, it reminds them of being upside-down in the womb. What are your thoughts, experiences?

My 8 month old son is starting to get pretty frustrated. He lies on his belly and tries hard to move but cannot seem to get going. I am just wondering how much longer will it take him to crawl? I have tried putting toys in front of him but this doesn't seem to work. Does anybody have different ideas to get him to crawl?

Do they just change ur birth certificate so that you can have a regular birthday (say Feb 28h or March 1)? Because otherwise that would mean you would have a birthday every 4 years and you'll be considered under age until you're 72...lol

I have a 19 month old son, who is very smart for his age. I know that i want him to have a sibling, someone for him to grow up with and share things with. I know me and my husband don't have the best job in the world, but we can take care of our family. And i always thought that the good Lord would take care of us anyway. Is it a good time or what? I need some advice, some help!!!

it started about 10 days ago. i might be just freaking out for nothing since im a first time mommy. he will do it after he wakes up and while eating. although it is kind of funny its also bothering me and my husband. it isn that hard but for a 5 1/2 month old it seems like it would hurt. i dont know why he is doing it. we constantly play with him, read to him, carress him, play games with him. all our attention goes to him. and when i say "no no, dont hit yourself" he laughs. anyone know anything???

I don't want to feel like I have to stay home all day everyday... I know I could pump later on, but right now my son is only 2 weeks old and I don't want to use bottles just yet to avoid "nipple confusion". I appreciate any helpful advice you have to give.

my son is begining to have an oval shape in his tummy that is larger than his thighs and chest and am afraid we are overfeeding..however he cry for milk and is calm once fed...I've heard we should let him decide how much to eat.....but I wonder and ideas....

My son is almost 6 months old. He has been exclusively on breast milk but he takes it from a bottle, as he wouldn't latch onto my nipple. I pump everyday, every 4 - 6 hours. I get up at 5am to pump every morning. Its ok, I am kind of used to it now but he is coming up to that age when solids should be introduced and I am wondering if I should start to pump less when that happens and if I should work towards just giving him a bottle of breast milk at night and one in the morning. I know that up until 6 months breast milk is all a child needs BUT I think my main question is, after they reach 6 months how much breast milk do they need?

My son is almost 6 months old and we decided to start feeding him solid foods (well mashed up and pureed foods). We are starting him off feeding him solids once a day, and after trying a new food we won't have him try another one for 3 days and just feed him regular baby cereal (the doctor said this was best for allergy reasons). He eats the food really well and barely spits any out, so he seems ready to eat.

I know that some foods cannot be given to babies for fear of a higher risk of allergies, so which foods can I give and cannot give my son? I read some things about giving your baby tofu and yougurt which seems a little too young for me.

And also, if the food is already really soft (like bananas, apples, and other fruits..) do I have to cook or steam them before I give it to them?
