wow.....I hope this is not a legit question, because if you are seriously considering this, I feel sorry for you! Of course I would buy her Christmas presents!! there is a small difference in a GED and HS Diploma, but you still prove to the state that you have accomplished just as much, if not more, than the average person in a public high school. I am a home schooled, and although I am receiving a Diploma from a school in Fla., if I wasn't doing the program that I am doing now, I would be getting a GED, just like all my other Home School friends. I know it doesn't always show well on a resume, but people shouldn't judge you for what kind of education you receive. What does getting a GED have to do with her still being your daughter and the fact that you should still love her regardless of her decisions, even if you might not agree with them all the time?? I totally disagree with this!! It is not only selfish of the person who does that to his/her daughter, it is also childish and spiteful! what a scrooge!

I think she is a little young to understand all of these things, maybe when she's turning 2 or an early toddler, but you may want to buy her things she can understand now. Like learning DVDs, teething rings, small toys, and all those crinkle and squeak things. Make sure not to have stuffed animals or pillows in her crib, because she could suffocate! Anyway, It's good that you got her lots of things for her first Christmas, but chances are, she won't remember it, so you might want to save some of the stuff for later years. Hope this helps. : )

take back the dora quad and the sit and spin shes way too young.
and the stuffed toy,
learn to read age requirements they are there for a reason all of this stuff is for kids over 2 and shes not even one yet
added take the princess chair back too its listed age 3-5 follow those age requirements
they are there to protect your baby
giving your child things to play with that arent for her age is dangerous
personally we dont need any more parents causing recalls of safe toys because their too stupid to read age and weight requirements
my son was 10 months his first christmas he got an alphabet ball by leap frog a few cars and a play phone. and a walking toy that was it he was too young for anything else

sorry, but a toothbrush?? shampoo and lotions?? those arent very good christmas presents...she should have those things anyways.. as for the rest, a lot of the stuff she wont even play with for a long time, and she'll be more interested in the wrapping paper! i did however do what you did, and went crazy for my sons first x-mas. he liked the boxes and paper more than the toys. im just being honest. go ahead and buy more if you want, just not hygeine products!

She probably won't be to interested in opening all of these and most of it will probably be left in the corner, when my children were that age they could care less about the toys and opening presents at christmas, I went overboard with my first child and learnt my lesson for my other children, when christmas came I thought she was going to be so excited, but she was more interested in a box that a toy came in..... She is going to be to young for the dora quad. it's all up to you what you want to give your child, but i think it's a bit to much, you'll end up like me with a huge toy chest full of toys that haven't been played with since we bought them.

Buy whatever you want for your daughter afterall, she will only be a baby for a short while. I remember my 3rd and last baby and the things that I had bought for her. She was born in Nov. and so she was only a month old her first Christmas. My daughter will soon be 30 this month so enjoy the baby as they do not stay babies very long.

You sure did. Although I think we all do it with a baby's first Christmas. The only problem with that is that she won't be as excited as you'd like her to be...she'll get tired of opening presents and that much new stuff can be overwhelming. I'd suggest you take some of it back (although you probably won't) and try to keep her first Christmas calm and enjoyable for her.
