Hmmmm and from a nurse too!!

Like you i was told babies cannot breath through their mouths. It is quite late i remember thinking.

We call our little 3 month old the huffen and the puffener!!!

We have now got some drops call Naosel from Boots and they help loads!!

They can breathe through their mouth from the day they are born but they breathe thru their noses. They need to do that because this way they can feed and breathe at the same time

they don't actually breathe through the mouth until they are born but i know that they "practice breathe" sooner. i saw my baby doing that during a sonogram...it was really cool...even before he was born his little chest was moving up and down!

Before they are born they know how to breathe because they grt oxygen while in the uterus. So it should come natrual unless the baby has a mental or lung disorder.
