Of course it is your choice, but it does seem like quite a lot for a 10 month old. And aren't grandparents giving gifts as well?

This sounds like more than plenty for a 10 month old, keep in mind that extended family will be buying her christmas gifts too. At this age the parent is doing most of the unwrapping and the child is usually more interested in the paper or the bow or the box it came in rather than the actual gift. I would not buy her anymore and might even consider returning some of it or waiting til her birthday in two months and giving her some of the left over christmas presents on her 1st birthday.

I feel it is WAY TOO MUCH! But, on a positive note, she is only 10 months old so won't remember it. If you kept this up year after year when she can remember what Christmas and birthdays are about, she will expect it, become spoiled and you will be one broke lady with a huge credit card bill. That is just my take on it. Bottom line, spoil her rotten now...but be careful of occasions to come!

It sounds like a lot. Just remember at this age, they basically just want the boxes with ribbons to play with. They could honestly care less what is inside. She won't even remember what you have given her for christmas. Although some of it does sound like everyday things sucks as lotions. I would set aside the lotions and shampoos, she may want to chew on them. Best of luck, and happy holidays!!

if you take out the things she dosnt care about, you will have bought her 12 things plus 4 movies, id say whatever, the more you buy, the more you clean up and you have to realize they wont last long being entertained by it. its your money, spoil the baby if you want, sounds like you are. enjoy the noise. i have the busy ball popper, she opened it today and i was annoyed with the music after 20 minutes.

Since she won't really remember this Christmas yes you did buy to much, some of that stuff she should wait a few years before using, save some of it for her next birthday or even her next Christmas. Don't give her too much it can be over whelming!!!!

A ten month old isn't even going to remember opening stuff on Christmas. Your pretty much just wasting money. You have to realize that you are buying this stuff more for you than for her at this stage in her life.

Congratulations on your new baby. Buying all this stuff...??? The baby won't understand it at this point, so it's for you and that's cool. Lots of us had Christmases that were lacking in some way and we try to make up for it by overkill gifting.
Regardless, if you continue doing this in future Christmases, you will be training her to understand that Christmas is about "lots of stuff"...rather than the focus being on family, beliefs, etc. Do you want that?

In my opinion... that is a bit much for a 10 month old! It is your choice though. If you have room for all of that stuff.......
