My sons father has hazel colored eyes. I have dark brown colored eyes.My son is almost two months. We haven't been able to tell which color his eyes are at all. His grandmother said it will take a while. I just wondered if anybody has had the same experience.

my baby is two weeks old and today all she has wanted to do is eat eat and eat some more and it seems like my breast just can't keep up with the demand. i haven't really been able to take a minute to eat or drink any water because she has been keeping me busy all day and i know that helps with the milk supply. will it be ok if i substitute a few feedings, like one or two, today with formula to let my breast bulid up a supply of milk for her? or does anyone have other suggestions on what i can do?

My baby is 3 and a half months old - starting from yesterday he's started spilling nearly everything he drinks. He's still having plenty of wet nappies, but hasn't done a poo in 3 days. (a big one anyway).

The main concern is that he's spitting up heaps. Like - a bit amount after feeding, and over the next 3 hours, half curdled milk every 5-10 min.

Is there anything to worry about? he's breastfed.

I have a daughter who is a week off 3 months - she has always been very inquisitive, from day one. She doesn't sleep much during the day and is very aware. She is always curious of her surroundings and stares at everything in wonder.

She has alot of toys, rattles, bright objects, baby-gym with different shapes, electronic play-mat that lights up and sings songs. I talk to her, read to her, sing to her, dance with her, repeat the alphabet, count to her etc. We go out and i chatter away to her pointing out different colours, objects and things etc.

What else can/should i do with her to keep her entertained - especially on cold wet and windy days (winter here) when we are kept indoors?

Thanks.

My son is almost 3 weeks old and he barely cries! The ONLY time he cries is when he's hungry. Other than that, he just squiggles around and lays there looking around when he's awake. He's an EXCELLENT baby. He even got circumsized yesterday and only cried for about 2 hours on a off and ever since that he hasn't cried at all. Is this totally normal? I was expecting a baby that constantly cried, but he's totally surprising me by being an awesome baby. Is everything fine with this?

We have a 1 month old son, and when he first came home from the hospital his diapers when poopy would be yellowish in color, then we had a formula problem and about a week ago we changed him to Similac Alimentum and hes had diareah ever since. Could this be the formula change or something bigger. Hes not in pain at all, and hes been gaining weight. So now what?

I left an unopened can of powder infant formula in my car trunk (for about a week) and the temperature here is b/w 80 - 90 degrees during the day. Should I toss the formula or is it okay to use?

Should i offer him formula instead, or just have him eat solid food...I am so lost. everyone keeps telling me it's my decision, but I don't want to do anything that will hurt my little one. (by the way he has been eating solids very well for the last three months)

I know for adults they have a ton of these workout monitors that can measure your heart rate. Is there something for babies? The stethoscope method and the stop watch are just not getting a true reading in our opinion. Open to suggestions as well. Thanks
