Have been exclusively breastfeeding my daughter for 9 months on. I want to start weaning her now. as you know she refuses to take the bottle. Any suggestions on which nipple will give me a higher success rate? Daddy will replace one breastfeed session with bottle(will try atleast) starting this weekend.

Or is it tooo hot for her? I have'nt had her yet. Due on Sunday! But my in laws are coming down from Wisconsin in April! And everytime they come down all they want to do is go to the beach! Who wouldn't, the ocean is beautiful!! Anyways, My baby will be about 2 months then. But I am worried that it will be too hot for her to sit outside at a beach! How old should I wait before taking her out? And how hot should it be? And what is good baby sunscreen?

Hey, I'm going to six flags soon and I love crazy scary rollercoasters. My whole family enjoys them. Anyways, I don't know when is the appropiate age to ride adult rollercoasters. I really want my baby to experience a loop and extreme downhill gravity forces! My baby is 6 months old. I know that park workers won't let my baby go on, but I can conceal him in a big bag and take him out as the ride commences. I'll be really safe, I'll even let the baby sit in the seat next to me if it is empty. So, when should I take my baby to the theme park? Is six months old enough? Or should I wait a few months? Are there any risks involved, such as stomach gas and other internal problems? It is a boy if that makes any difference.

It doesn't make any difference wether its formula or breastmilk, she just won't take the bottle and well i can't breastfeed her anymore, my hair is starting to fall out and it makes it very hard to look after my one yr old.

My son started solids at 5 months old and was really happy with them at first. But lately he's been refusing anything that I try to give to him. I was thinking of trying some potatoes mashed with some breastmilk to see if he might be interested in that? Anyone tried that at around this age or have this same problem with their baby refusing solids after a while? All he wants lately is Mama's milk :). Thanks so much!

My 7 week old has what I think is a birth mark. It was difficult to notice because unlike other birthmarks I have seen, it is lighter than the skin around it. Not darker. It doesn't bother me and I hope it won't bother her when she gets older. But it spans the whole length of her chest. Shaped like the state of Florida. (haha) Anyway I was just wondering if anyone else had heard of a birthmark that is lighter instead of darker and what it might be called?

She got her 6 mo old shots over a month ago, she had a slight reaction to them but it went away quickly except there is a small discoloration that you can barely see unless you look close and she still has a hard bump where the shots were taken, on both legs. Shouldn't it have gone away by now? Should I be concerned? It doesn't seem to bother her though. I just thought it was supposed to go away by now like it has with her past shots. My son never had a reaction or swelling. How can I make it go away completely so she doesn't have these weird little bumps on her legs when we touch her?

I have somewhat forgotten exactly what I will need when the new baby comes home, and was wondering if you can give me a list of everything she will need like onesies, burp rags, diapers, bibs, etc.........I'm making a list to start buying things and I don't want to leave anything off! Thank you for your help.

Hello fellow mothers and mothers-to-be. I just had a baby boy 3 weeks ago! He is adorable. He is loved and welcomed by my whole family. My 2 daughters just adore him. I have a problem, however. Whenever I breast feed him, it is VERY painful. It feels like a burning hot razor is cutting my mammary glands. The pain is felt deep inside as well as the tip. Ever time he nibbles and bites on my nipple, the excruciating pain gets more intense. Could it be an infection? The pain gets so bad sometimes that I have to put my baby aside and take some Tylenols. I've seen a doctor and he could not find anything wrong with my breasts. Please help me? Anyone else had this problem?

My baby and i have had it for over 2 months now. We tried nystatin for both of us with no luck. I've tried gentian violet, GSE topically and orally for my baby. I have been on Diflucan (Fluconazole) for 2 weeks now with no real improvements. I resorted to pumping because it hurt his mouth at 3 weeks of age and now he's almost 12 weeks and we STILL have it. My doctor is an idiot, but my insurance wont work for any good doctors. I also tried miconazole topically and apple cider vinegar for a while. Now, using GSE topically seems to keep most of the horrible burning and itching sensations at bay. I'm also taking it in capsule form as well as Bio-k plus that has active cultures in it. I just want to get rid of this horrible thing so I can teach him how to breastfeed again and get back to work before I go broke. I have spent a fortune trying to get rid of this. Pumping and then feeding him with it in a bottle, along with endless sanitizing is making life miserable. PLEASE HELP

my son is getting his first couple of teeth in, and when he sucks, sometimes he'll clamp down and i can feel his little teeth pinching me!!!! i would like to know if there are any nipples that are closest to the breast to make the transition??? also he has only nursed, no substitutions, so is it better to transition to the bottle or a cup??? and if anyone knows of a good nipple out there that is more like the breast???? i don't mind spending some money, just want to know what works!!!!
