my babys umbilical cord fell off on saturday.my question is should it still be bleeding a little bit still today?

there may have been some trapped blood beneath the cord that is coming out now, you may also see some yellow or green stuff come out of the site, if it starts profusely bleeding or keeps bleeding for several days call you doctor

That's normal. Just continue to keep it clean with some alcohol swabs until the bleeding stops. If it continues beyond a few days or gets worse, take the baby to the doctor. That may be a sign of infection.

That's normal, My Daughters bled a little at bath time for a couple of days. Midwife told us only to use warm water on a cotton ball, she said never to use metho or anything like that.

It took my daughter about a week to stop bleeding after hers fell off. As long as its not a ton of blood, she's fine.

yes just use alchol to clean it out i cleaned it every diaper change but i cannot stand the sight of blood

call your docters office. thats what
they are there for. they will tell you
over the phone. you will probably get
his nurse or she will call you back.
They are paid for this.
call them so you can relax a little.
