i really think my 5 week old son is lactose intolerance. i really don't think its colic. when i rub his tummy, he stops crying and when i give him the bottle he starts screaming again. I'm giving him enfamil lipil low iron. he first was on enfamil lipil with iron, but took him off cuz he was to constipated. i saw that they have this formula out in enfamil thats for fussy and gassy babies and one for colic babies.

I have always used Gerber bottles and nipples,i am using a medium flow 6 month nipple right now, this has been approved by my pediatritian,my son is a little weaker than most babes,he has had 2 heart surgerys already. He does not eat more than 2 maybe 3 oz at a time,my diatitian at childrens hospital has me boosting his formula right now so he gets more calories but i cant help but wonder if i changed bottles and nipples if it would help him?Any ideas? Please!!

my 8 month old daughter has been having diarrhea for along time. she went to the pediatrician and he just called it an intestinal virus. is it possible it is rotavirus? it keeps coming back and it gets really bad. i keep having to switch her to isomil instead to get it under control. she doesn't throw up, it's just diarrhea. right now i don't have my car so i can't take her to the doctor until at least next week when i hope my car wil be done getting fixed. she doesn't have the diarrhea att he moment but i am sure it will be back. her diet is pretty regular now that i know what she likes. she drinks similac, doesn't like baby cereal at all. eats fruits and vegetables, and limited variety of dinners (she doesn't like anything with more than 2 or 3 ingredients).

Breastfeeding is a big source of comfort for her. She still wakes up a couple times a night to nurse (she sleeps with me)So, how do I go about breaking this habit of nighttime nursing...and eventually weaning altogether? She will take a bottle of formula during the day, but absolutly refuses at night. If you have strong opinions against breastfeeding, or cosleeping, PLEASE do not reply.

How do you get a 9 month old to stop biting people. She has bit me on the face and leg. Her parents laugh at her when she does it unless she does it to them and bits hard. How can I get her to stop since they aren't trying?

My son is almost a year old and his crib just looks uncomfortable with the firm mattress, sheet and small blanket. What can I do to make it more cozy for him? Is a small pillow okay as long as it is not big enough to give him leverage to climb out of his crib?
