I asked about introducing solids a few wks ago. Well i have started introducing them to my daughter. I started with the rice she hated it. Then i started with the oatmeal she cryed before i got the spoon in her mouth. Then i tried adding sweet potatoes to the oatmeal and that didnt go so well either. So i was wondering since its not going good at all. Should i just stop and wait to see if she gets interested in wanting solids again. Cause i thought she was ready but i guess i was wrong. Is it ok to just stop and try later. or should i just keep trying??

She is 13 months old and she is fine going almost all day with out the bottle but nap time and bed time are bad. She won't go to sleep until she has it. I only let her have like two ounces and she is out but she wants to hold the empty bottle all night. Is there a way to break this habit?

My girl weights 13lbs and 5 ounces at 4 months. I am wondering what your babies weighed then. One woman in a store commented she looked like she was a newborn!

Not sure how to ask this but.. I feel like I constantly have the milk "let down" feeling. My nipples and breasts feel kinda burning/tingly constantly. I feel like it takes nothing to make me engorged. Could it be my bra? Do I just have that much of an over supply of milk? Anyone have any ideas?

My son has recently started pushing himself away from me with his hands while breastfeeding, but he's still latched on. He'll push on me and stop, push on me and stop, he'll do this for like 10 minutes quite fast, until he gets sleepy and then he stops. I thought maybe it was that he couldn't breathe very well so I pulled him away from me a little bit so there was nothing blocking his nose but he kept doing it. It's nothing I'm too worried about, I just thought it was funny and was wondering if anyone else's baby has done this?

I sleep for less than 6 hours a night. I do it because I have a husband, kids, pets, garden & house, & studies that all need attention. I sometimes get a bit tired towards midnight but all morning, day & night I am very awake & full of energy. Is this normal? What about you?

Our 10 month old daughter has not developed the pincer grasp yet and it worries me a little. She can pick up anything, doesn't have any sort of delays in any other areas, but cannot, for instance, get a cheerio from her hand to mouth. Everything ELSE goes to the mouth, like eating a piece of toast, crackers, etc. She CAN pick it up, but she just just uses all fingers and palms it ... she can get it up to her mouth and release it, but drops it. Almost every baby book (gotta HATE those) say that she should have been able to do this (like around 8-9 months), but she just hasn't mastered it. I'm not TRYING to worry or hurry her, but need a little reassurance!!! Thanks!
