Its hard to say. I just had someone ask me what I liked the most at my baby shower back in May.... Every baby is different.. I used the bouncy chair alot when he was little... it gave him different view of the world instead of being on his back all of the time. He only used his swing for about 2 weeks - diapers are great, but I found that I have a preference for one brand but only after trying several different ones... I had a lot go to waste. Formula depends on if she will be using it or not, and what kind she is planning to use - that will also depend on baby sometimes.
The bag full of little things is a great idea.... I couldnt get enough toys, teething rings, rattles, bottles, burp cloths, spoons, bowls etc... wait to see what she registers for and pick up a bunch of that stuff.
The one thing that I got from my sister in law ( she has 2 boys ) was a bag full of safety stuff - outlet covers, cupboard locks, door locks, etc... this was something I never thought of. Now my son is almost 7 months, and starting to move around, and wow am I happy that I have all of that... It is something that I packed away at the beginning and did not think about but I am very happy I have it now!

I would get her the swing--this can be a lifesaver!! Babies like motion and during those early months, the swing makes life much easier when you are trying to put the baby to sleep or eat dinner, etc. Most babies like swings, but they don't all like bouncers. If you get the baby stuff.... include things people don't often buy or that she'll definitely need... diapers, baby's 1st calendar, vaseline, infant tylenol, teethers, a book from the American Academy of Pediatrics... these are just a few ideas.

Any of those things would be great, but it depends on how much you want or are able to spend. Also, your friend may have a registry at a store which could tell you what she still needs. You don't want to do a duplicate gift. Think of something very personal like a beautiful sterling picture frame for the baby or a gift certificate to a baby store that has pretty things. It would help to know as much as possible before purchasing something. Just be direct and ask your friend for direction.

The one thing that I wish I would have got more of when I had my baby shower is diapers. If you decide to get a bunch of small things, definitely get your friend the Newborn Swaddlers diapers by Pampers. They are awesome!
Otherwise, my baby LOVES her vibrating bouncy chair. I put her in it, let the vibrations go, it gets rid of her gas, she is occupied because I put it in front of the TV and she can watch cartoons. It also has a viewing bubbles thing on it that she can stare at. It plays music too. It works better than the swing someone got for her. I just like the fact that it vibrates. That brings up a lot of gas in babies. When I bring my bub to grandmas house and she doesn't have her vibrating bouncy chair, she cries almost all day. I have to buy her a chair for over there too. I swear by it. It is an awesome gift. Target has one for like $25 and it is sooooo worth the money. Like I said, my baby doesn't even go in her swing, but she loves that bouncy chair! Good luck!

Hospitals usually give you just about everything you need for the baby in a baby bag. I got two baby bags at the hospital where I gave birth. A battery operated swing would be wonderful.

No it would not propose that your toddler will be a boy. that's with information from coincedence. yet aims take position on your sub concience so that you have not got any administration over them. I dreamt that i changed into going to have a boy.. and that i basically got here upon out i'm having a lady. although the ultrasound tech would were incorrect because it isn't in any respect 100% .. however it skill not something to have a dream about it.

i think a feeding table would be perfect
if u get them a bouncer i might be awile before they grow into it
another option is to get a keepsake, like a silver cup with the babys name engraved into it or maybe even a teddy bear or a blanket with their name on it
nd also congrats to ur best friend gud luck 4 the future

I think your idea to get her lots of little things is a good idea..I got a laundry basket filled with diapers, Dreft (baby detergent), blankets, sleepers, socks, towels and wash clothes for the baby as a gift for my shower..I loved it!...Also check to see if she has a gift registry somewhere...that way you can just pick something off of the list of things she wanted. Good Luck

Good idea with the baby bag with lots of little things in it. Or you could get her LOTS of Pampers (or another brand). Often times people forget about that small, yet important, item.
