Can you tell your babys sex with a 4d ulrasound at 18 weeks?

Usually the sexual organs are formed and you can see them at 18 weeks, but the further along you are the easier it is. But it also depends on if the baby wants to show you or not!

You can. You can tell the babies sex best from 18 weeks-22 weeks and four d is no exception. The only reason to mabye get an ultrasound that isnt 4d is because it can miss alot of things which may be vital. They arent as good here...and have even been deemed "for entertainment purposes only.

Is it a boy or a girl?

Test one: the wedding ring pendulum

One of the more common myths is the wedding ring on the chain or piece of string. Side to side equals girl, and round and round equals boy.

Test two: drain cleaner

For this test, we'll be requiring a urine sample and a teaspoon of drain cleaner.

When the two are combined, the myth says green equals girl, blue equals boy.

Test three: the Chinese lunar calendar

The Chinese calendar gives us a way of telling whether you are going to have a boy or a girl based on your lunar age, which is found out by adding two years to your actual age when you conceive the child. Then we use the calendar to correlate that with the month that it was conceived and then it will tell us whether it's a boy or girl.

Test four: the heart rate

Now, to do something a little more scientific — they say if your heart rate is over 140 you're going to have a boy, if it's under 140 you're going to have a girl.

my doctors told me that for best results with a 4d u/s have it done between 28 to 33 weeks. Before that is too soon and after that its too crowded to get good pictures. For a normal u/s they reccomend you wait until at least 18 weeks to determine the gender of the baby.

you probably can but 4d ultrasounds are better done after 26 weeks if you want a good picture of your baby. I had one done at 20 weeks, not good pics. And another at 31 weeks , awsome pics!

Yes . I had mine done at 16 weeks and found out he was a boy night and day!! 4d is awesome and i had it done 2 times!!Good luck!
