I was just wondering, since white babies are normally born with blue eyes that often change color later on. I'm actually of white and Cherokee descent, but all of the babies in my family have been born with blue eyes.

Her birth date is 7/27/06. She sleeps from 7:30pm-12:30am then she is up every 2 hours. Yes, I feed her cereal in her bottle-- actually she will not take a bottle without a little cereal in it, no, it does not constipate her. I tried feeding her sweet potatoes and pears throughout the day, which she loves both. But then she was extremely fussy in the evening so we quit the food for a week and the fussiness went away. But she still will not sleep and I am exhausted !!! I would greatly appreciate any "real" advise from experienced mothers. I am a nurse and none of the doctors know what to tell me. She is a beautiful and happy baby, she does not wake up in the morning in a bad mood(always happy) you can not be upset at a smiling baby..But she wants to get up for the day at 5am. Help!! dad can not help as he is on call 24hours a day for towing and we live in a very rural area. We own a collision/body shop/towing business. The closest town to us has one red light. Any advise???

I am the proud mother of a beautiful 3 wk girl. I am breast feeding her on demand and that is going well. She's also a good sleeper but despite these things I still find myself feeling teary and a bit over-whelmed. Is this normal? I love her dearly and want to be the best mum I can be but feel bad for feeling down when I should be happier. Can you differentiate between baby blues and post natal depression?

She is on medication and does not offer her milk to my daughter. She prepares a bottle of whole milk, keeps it next to her pillow and offer her as and when she cries in the night. Someone says that feeding mill during sleep will effect on digestive system.

I keep seeing and hearing different sizes for a baby to be normal. Most of the sizes I hear and see are smaller than most babies. Why? For example, my baby will be six months on th 20th and she's 18lbs and 27in. She needs to wear 12 months clothing. But these tags for a 6 month old baby should be like 16lbs, 23in. Most of the moms i talk to say the same thing too.....

Whenever I go out with baby, people approach and at least one to two strangers reach out and touch my baby. Why do they do that? For me it's like they're invading my space. Not to mention that it is flu season and I don't want my baby getting sick. Am I just being overly protective?

This may sound odd, but it is a legitimate question.

My chest is a 34 A - not a whole lot basically. Can anyone tell me how this will affect my ability to nurse, if at all?

Will my breasts be able to produce enough milk to nourish a baby?

I haven't had any children yet and was just wondering. Thanks for any advice or help!

My fiance and I are leaving for St. George, Canada early next year to work.

We are planning to have our first baby when we get there but the problem is, we are not really sure if I could still keep my job while I take care of the baby.

Having a baby-sitter or nanny is an option but we really don't know how much it would cost to have one.. On the other hand, would it really be safe to have a baby-sitter or nanny while I go to work? What do you think?

I have concerns that i feel i have to explain my decision, particularly to my husbands family who will probably not agree with my decision.

I feel judged by them and i havent even had the baby yet. I have considered breast feeding but know now that its not really for me. I will try it but my sister has 3 healthy children and all were bottle fed, as was i as a child.

After a few more screams she is fine and drinks the whole bottle. She is not old enought just to eat solids. What should i do?

He will be awake for 6 hours at a time starting at about 7 pm but getting worse at 9 and unbearable at 11. At first he is just fussy and then it escalates. The Drs have said it's just colic and it will go away in time. We are now a very unhappy family. I can't find anything on-line about babies this young and crying and sleeping - or letting them cry to sleep. Or what to do if choices seem to be disappearing.
He is formula fed - we've tried the soy and the lactose free. He seems to do best on the soy. Over the last 2 weeks - we have tried rocking, the bouncy chair, a drive in the car, a pacifier, holding him while he sleeps sitting up or lying down or however he seems the most comfortable, the swing, the crib, the bed, etc... all have not worked for more that 15 to 20 minutes.
We know that our baby is sweet and wonderful and this is just a phase but we don't want to hurt him in any way developmentally and we are all getting worn out!
HELP!
