My doctor told me I could use tampons again when my 6 weeks was over and I had a normal cycle. Try if you would like. And if it hurts inserting them then wait for your next cycle. We all heal differently.

~I had a c-section and I didn't wear tampons. It was quite a while back, but I'm sure I would have used tampons if they told me it was okay, so I'm thinking it's not safe. Let all the gunk out naturally.~

I would wait, they usually tell you to wait 6 weeks but check with your doctor just use sanitary napkins for now. I would think it all depends on you I got my menstral cycle right away I guess if you feel your ok to have intercourse you should be ok.

you really need to ask your doctor that. I would guess it would be okay at 9 weeks post, but it's a guess.

Ask your doctor, I'd imagine they should have told you it was ok or not after your 6 week check up.
