soothe the baby. My girl had the same issue last night but she didnt sleep till 2 am. I took her into my bed for a while and that didnt work, she flailed her arms and legs so much it reminded me of a bug trapped on its back actually. SO i wraped up her body tightly in a blanket and put her back in her crib with her soother and played the mobile..she whimpered a bit but did not cry. The best thing is for there to be as littel stimulation as ever in the room for her. I dont know about letting a baby cry it out depending on the age.

Do not ebgage with him. If he is still on nighttime feeds feed in the dark and do not speak to him. Then put him back to bed. And leave him. He wont cry forever, just dont play etc or he wont realise he is supposed to be sleeping.

(I said he because i didnt want to call your baby an it!! Apols if your baby is a girl)

Give him a warm feed of milk in the dark so he thinks it's still night time, try not to talk to much as he will become fully awake

A car ride always worked with my kids. Soothing music on a CD will help as well.

Put the child in the back seat with no distractions, drive and play music.

Good Luck !!

I have alway been told that if they are on nightly feeds always feed in low light and try not to play and encourage the behavior. I know that its hard. I would also say that you check on her/him and make sure that he/she is okay. If they are rock her/him back in forth in the rocking chair for a couple of minutes turn on some classical music and lay him/her down and just let her/him be. Its okay for him/her to cry. If it continues try this method. Its the link it worked wonderfully.

I think its normal for babies, let him stay awake. it wont take long he/she will sleep soon. you dont have to find a way to make your baby fall asleep, just make sure that he/she is safe.

ROCKING THE BABY USALLY WORKS, SOFT MUSIC, WARM MILK OR WARM WATER, SOMETIMES BABYS GET THERE DAYS AND NIGHT MIXED UP SO IF THATS THE CASE, YOU MIGHT BE UP FOR A WHILE JUST KEEP IT QUITE AND HOPEFULLY HE OR SHE WILL FALL BACK TO SLEEP SOON, GOOD LUCK.

Get off the computer, dimm the lights and cuddle him, rock him, feed him, or give him a warm bath
