I am just starting her on formula today. She will get formula during the day and breasfed at night/early morning. I am going back out to work soon and trying to get her accustomed to formula since I have not been successful in pumping enough milk for her.

This weekend we started to give our son baby food. He seems to love it but was wondering how often and how much to give him along with his bottle. Do I subsitute one feeding of a bottle with the food or do I give him both? How much of the jar do I give him at once? I know it all depends on the individual child but I just would like a guideline of where your child was at this point.

I borrowed a crib from my sister and she is now pregnant (yippie!) so obviously I need to give her back the stuff she lent me. The only worry I have is about the crib. My daughter will be one year old when she delivers-she is 5 months now. Is she too young to go in a toddler bed? It seems a waste of money to get a crib if she will only sleep in it for a few months but I want my daughter safe.

So, should I...
1. get a new crib now and change her over?

2. keep her in her crib until my sister has her babe and then change her to a new crib?

3. keep her in her crib until my sister has her babe and then put her in a bed?

4.other?

I am doing a project on why teens should take a class that wil show them how hard it is to be a teen parent and I need these qusetions ansswered, do you think you guys can help?

Do you think teens will really take this class seriously?

What do you think we should do to try and make this ‘law’ be a real law?

How much money do you think the people who pay taxes are willing to pay for the class?

Do you agree with my idea, and why?

If you smoke or drink while pregnant, you should feel guilty, because this can affect your baby's health.
But it is also well known that bottlefeeding affects your babys health too, increase of infections and diseases, no antibodies from the mother, and lower cognitive and sensory development COMPARED to breastfeeding. These are facts shown by scientific studies and yet health professionals say women shouldn't be made to feel guilty for choosing ot to breastfeed. Why not?
Choosing not to breastfeed is choosing to give your baby second best. Why is that ok? There really shouldn't be a choice it should be breastfeed and if you are phsyically incapable to do so then you can have formula prescribed.
Why is it so easy for mothers to just say whatever, It doesnt matter? Actually the same goes for those mums who choose to sit in mcdonalds and buy their kids sweets and artificial flavoured drinks and food. Why would people want to do this to their children?
