It's a white syrup that has lots of sugar. It's often used at home for making candy. YOu can find it at the grocery store near the maple syrup or baking products. Karo is the most common brand. I just made some toffee with it yesterday!

it is a light/white syrup, it has numerous uses, baking is the main one, it is used in pecan pies, candies, and such, but have also heard of it being used to "stick" bows on newborns head/hair... that is the only association I can find as to WHY you are asking this under newborn & baby catagory!!

its one of the most widely consumed products. its in nearly all junk food, soda, candy... more than oil, we are a society addicted to corn

look in the local food mart, it's with the oils, and it's used in baking, and it's yummy on pancakes
