She pulls herself up after I sit her down. Because the baby tub is slippery (and so is she), she has slipped a few times while I was holding on to her. Is there another way to bathe her more safely? Her bath is part of her daily bedtime routine and I would like to keep it.

I have a daughter Sierra Joan and a son Cade Ryan. What do you think about these names for another baby boy or girl: Kamryn Jade for a girl and Bryce Weston for a boy.

She has a three year old son and a two year old daughter. She was about 20 weeks pregnant with this baby when it died. I am not very close to her, but I feel like I should do something for her and her husband.

I have been giving her medicine that her doctor prescripted but i think it isnt working on her anymore. she had gotten broncotis about 2 months ago and it went away but now she has a cough. I'm starting to think she gets so sick its because i take her to a daycare(i'm a single mom). what do u think it is, i'm starting to think it might be the whopping cough? or her broncotis is back? HELP!and she cries when she coughs too.

How do I deal with my mother and other family members telling me to wean my baby now?? They are very persistent in telling me that breastfeeding is gross and that I should never do it in public or around other people. I nurse whenever my son is hungry, regardless of where I am. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Hi. By way of background . . . I am a 54 year old jewish man from Yonkers who is married to a 24 year old black woman from texarkana. We are expecting our first child, a daughter, in march. We are having trouble agreeing to a name. She has her heart set on the following: Kaiesha Kashandra Dupree Eisenberg. I am MORTIFIED by this name and would have so much embarrassment even introducing her to my work associates. How do I tell my wife what I think of the name without offending her? Or do you think the name is OK?

I just found out I am pregnant last Thursday. I am really excited (except for the fact that I just started a new job) and I am already trying to find child care and figure out what I need for the nursery. But what did you realize was something you would have liked to know or have that would have made dealing with a newborn easier? I just want to be prepared, so that I can just enjoy my maternity leave.

Anyway its been over a week and he only slept through the night two nights in a row just this weekend and then last night he was crying non stop again and I finally had to go get him. How long does this take ?my Dr. told me only three days and recommended this torture... but it has been 10 days now. I have to give up this on this method because I really can't take it. I feel so bad for him. Just when I thought he wouldn't cry anymore he starts crying again last night.

Anyone with experience on this please help .... how long or often did your baby cry and how many weeks or days did it take????? Ten points to anyone that can HELP PLEASE!!!
