It's her comfort mechanism. I would try giving her a psifier instead and feed her when she wakes up. Also try to give her 2 or 4 ounces of milk about 30 minutes before she is ready for sleep and maybe she won't want the bottle.I don't think anything is wrong with her unless she's not eating any other time than when she is sleepy. In that case I would definatly call the doc

There's nothing to worry Swathi. Its pretty common in infants to suck on the nipple of the bottle when they r asleep. It just means that their tummies r full and they had had enuff of milk. So, u better keep a watch on the baby and take the bottle off when she is asleep. Because unknown to even the child, she keeps on drinking much milk than what her tummy can hold and which may result in unnecessary complications.
Congratulations New Mommy!!!

I have a 3 months old and I had a similar problem, but I breastfeed him. He would refuse to take the breast, he would scream...He also ate only when half asleep and did not eat as much as before. I just did not pressure him. Fed him more often. It took him TWO WEEKS to stop doing that. Have patience, but ask your doctor also right away.

nothing is wrong with her she just might be too tired to finish her bottle my son did the same thing so i kept him awake longer during the day and he sleeps longer at night also while feeding her at night try to keep her awake by talking to her rubbing her feet and removing the bottle and putting it back it will make her suck faster..you might want to check the nipple to make sure shes getting enough she could be ready for a medium flow nipple my son was taking almost half hour when i switched nipples now he takes 10 minutes

Perhaps you are giving her too much formula to finish, or she is full. Unless she is losing weight rapidly, there really is little concern. If she is fussy after eating, she may be experiencing gas or colic, which can be easily treated with Mylicon drops. If she's not fussy, there's really nothing to be worried about until she starts to lose weight.

two month old babies are half asleep quite a bit....so no worries....Babies have this unique way of knowing how much to eat....If she is eating somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 ounces every 3-4 hours, don't be alarmed.....If you have concerns, check with her doctor....
