He probably didn't watn to be put down. My son has a cry that you KNOW you hurt his feelings. Usually its when we've been playing after I get home from work and I have to put him down for something. But my 6 month old is a mommy's boy. He wants me all the time.

He probably just still wanted to play, my daughter does the same thing to me when I am playing with her then I put her in her swing or playpen. Its just a reaction.

my daughter is 4 months old and she does the same thing, i like to think that she is upset because she just wants more play time with us. they do have feelings but express them differently. he was probably telling daddy that he wasn't finished with him yet. I wouldn't worry about it he will be fine.

at that point, they kind of just react. maybe he had to go to the bathroom or just didn't want to be on the swing or was scared of falling or something.

ahhh that is so sweet. he probably just wanted soem more attention from his daddy. i think your baby has feelings, its just that he feels hurt in a different way from us grown up.
