I had a c-section 10 weeks ago and had the normal bleeding after a pregnancy for about 3 weeks. On the 21 Nov i got my first period after having the baby and so far it has lasted 3 and a half weeks. Before i became pregnant it only use to last about 4 days. I started back on the pill on the 21 Nov as well. I am not breastfeeding. Has this happened with anyone else? And is there anything i can take to stop the bleeding if i go to the doctors?

My 5 month old always grabs his blanket and covers his head to sleep...he will not sleep another way. this concerns me because of SIDS, is there any alternative or something I can do to try to get him to not do this? This leaves me with sleepless nights because I am constantly checking him.

When he was a little baby that's understandable but he still drools and soaks his clothes. It's not teething and if it was I would think he would swallow instead of let it spill from his mouth. He is a healthy happy baby but my concern over this drooling thing is growing. Any thoughts........?

she is six months old. She is not breast feed because of my breast implants. She has been drinking from liquid formula and recently (one week) she doesn't want to drink formula milk anymore, because all she wants is water and gerber food. She likes to drink water more than the milk. Mabe her throat is infected or the nippel on the bottle is to small and hard for her to suck. The water is thinner than the milk so it would be easier to drink?

It has even hit 37.0, and I am taking the temp under the arm. Otherwise she seems fine, playful and happy. She is 3 months old, and I don't want to take her to a germy doc office this time of year unless absolutely necessary. Any thoughts?

I'm having a child in January. Me and the father of the baby are at ends as to what the last name should be. He says his and i say mine. I say the baby should have my name because we aren't married. and if we weren't to get married then the baby could carry my name. He plans to be around to take care of his child and therefore feels that the baby should have is last name. I don't like the hyphenated because that causes issues with the name being to long. right now the child is passing on his grandfather middle name. i don't have a name to pass on or one that he would agree with. I told him that if we were to get married than the child could have is last name. and that would be the only way i could agree to it...anyone have and advice as to what can be done to not make tensions any worse before i go into labor

I have a question for other mothers whose child is lactose intolerant. What did their poops look like be4 u discovered they were lactose intolerant...My daughter is 6 mos old, and we have her on Enfamil ADA DHA calcium enriched, but she has been so constipated...she'll poop this little terd, and then a whole patty o poop, and then a flush of watery stool. I'm wondering if it is because she is lactose intolerant, and if I should switch to Soy base. keep in mind she is only 6 mos old, nad i recently went back to work, so we've put her on formula, Sorry for the details...We DO have a doctors app't for her tomorrow, i was just wondering if any of you have had this happen to you kids be4.. Thanks for answering!

I know its dangerous when you toss a baby in the air. But what if you raise a baby in the air up and down like 2-3 times and twirl them to the left and right. Can it still cause any damage. My husband does it becuase it makes her giggle. But it freaks me out.. because i think its just as bad...

My baby was diagnosed with infant reflux and is now on Zantac. Does anyone else have a baby on zantac? Have there ever been any adverse reactions with babies and zantac? It seems like drugs are approved and then a year or two goes by and they recall the drug for serious reasons. My baby seems to be doing better on the medicine than before taking it. But I'm still cautious about medicating a baby.
