I had a c-section 10 weeks ago and had the normal bleeding after a pregnancy for about 3 weeks. On the 21 Nov i got my first period after having the baby and so far it has lasted 3 and a half weeks. Before i became pregnant it only use to last about 4 days. I started back on the pill on the 21 Nov as well. I am not breastfeeding. Has this happened with anyone else? And is there anything i can take to stop the bleeding if i go to the doctors?

I did go to the doctors on the 4th dec and he did say if it hasn't stopped in another 2 weeks to come back. I just really thought it would have stopped by now. And i was interested in how other people's was?

No one should have a period that lasts over a week. Go to the doctor and make sure you are okay. It could be simple, but you need to get checked right away. Good luck.

you want to bypass see your healthcare professional now. which could no longer generic. even with the actual incontrovertible reality that i visit claim that I did bleed for extra or less 6 weeks after I had my little ones. And the dep. shot can do bizarre issues on your gadget. at the same time as i replaced into 16 and were given the dep. shot I bled for over 30 days. yet 123 days. you're probable anemic by now. i'd recommend no longer getting yet another depo shot once you're due and bypass onto yet another type of birth control.

OH NO ...Go to another OB, please as soon as you get your first reg. period(post birth bleeding done) it should last no longer than 7 days. You are losing alot of blood now and may be animaic. See a new OB ASAP

I would see your doctor...I can recall my bleeding being prolonged because I didn't breastfeed and my uterus didn't completely shrink. They gave me a prescription and things went back to normal after that.
