It has even hit 37.0, and I am taking the temp under the arm. Otherwise she seems fine, playful and happy. She is 3 months old, and I don't want to take her to a germy doc office this time of year unless absolutely necessary. Any thoughts?

The temp of 36.6 is good. When you are taking it under the arm it is gonna be a little lower than normal If you take it rectally ,which is the preferred method for telling how hot or cold they are, it will give you a better idea of how she is doing. Since babies do not have much fat on them their arms can get colder and so the temperature won't be accurate.Best of luck!

Don't worry at all!!! The guidelines we were give (our baby is now 9 weeks old) is that as long as the temperature falls between 36.6 and 37.5 the baby is doing fine.

I myself took her temperature often and found that everytime i thought she had a fever, she was actually on the low end of the range.

Well in my experience, under the arm thermometers do not work. You can get one that is quick, you put in the ear, press a button and you're done. If she is playful etc, I would not be concerned. If you get worried it never hurts to take her in just in case.
Good luck

Neither of those are a temperature. If under the arm the temperature reaches 37.9 then its a bit high but nothing below that is considered a temperature.

I would love to give advice, but i'm not sure how to convert to ferenheit. sorry. If she's 3 months and its a constant fever, she needs to see the doctor. Don't take a chance with the little ones!

Is that 37 C? Because if it's 37 F, you're child wouldn't be alive is my guess....
