Do you prop pillows behind you, or have a special pillow or something to give back support?

I usually nurse laying down, but there are times when I want to sit up, and I need good support for my back.

Best answer gets the 10 points.

My son is eight months old. He currently eats stage one and two baby food. He eats baby food once a day, for lunch. Other than that he only gets formula. We are about to start him on a sippy cup. In a few months he'll be completely off formula and eating only solids. He's my first child, so I really have no idea what I'm doing. lol I'm about to start giving him baby food twice a day, for lunch and dinner. We've tried giving him crackers since he has all four of his front teeth in, but he won't swallow them. When he does swallow them he will literally throw it back up to keep himself from swallowing it. What should I do to help him figure out swallowing solids? And what other solids could I feed him now?

hi, ladies. I'd like to ask if any of you feel the same way. me and husband have 4mths old baby. and for those who had baby natural way, we had bleeding, pain and pinching feeling down there for a while right? since I had a baby, I don't have any desire to have sex which make my husband grumpy. he's been patiently waiting for last 4mths but I don't feel like it. do you ever feel this way?? please serious reply!!

Since "Snowball" closed the question before I responded to this:

"Brenda B, you're an HIV Caseworker, and you know that condoms break, and you see the reports from the CDC--and you did not circumsize your 3 boys?? Family Services should aresst you for Child Abuse"

Um, yes condoms break but they can break whether a boy is circumcized or not. What exactly is your point here? What is your argument? If condoms can break, why circumcize then? Do you think that if a circ boy's condom breaks then his risk is lower than an intact boy? You really need to educate yourself. You are really blind about the reality of the disease.

And I should be arrested for not circumcizing my boys? Why is that? I'm neglecting and abusing my sons because they're not circumcized? Hmm..i didn't think that leaving my son perfectly intact was abusive. Tell me why I should be arrested. I'd love to know.

My daughter is now nearly 7 months old but she is still very bald. I'm desperate to put her some pigtails in as people always think she's a boy if she's not dressed in pink. Will her hair start to grow soon?

My six month old has a rash on her face, (left cheek) and has watery diarrhea. I'm worried. Over the phone Dr said might be stomach virus. No fever, she does not appear terribly irritated. No new foods were given to her either. Could this be an allergy? Anyone have similar experience with thier baby?

She has been mostly awake for 7 hours now. The longest she has ever been. I have been feeding, changing, rocking, gave gas drops, and drove her in the car. She wakes up as soon as I stop. I am rocking her now and she is calm but when her binkie falls out of her mouth she screams. What is wrong and what can I do to make her feel better and take a nap?

My baby is six weeks and for the past few weeks she straightens her legs out and i say shes standing up because im barely holding on to her. My mother decides now is the time to tell me that i might make her bowlegged if i let her do that now. I thought it was cute that my baby was "standing up" but now i think i might have messed up her legs. If it does make them bow legged will it fix it self as she gets older? I would really feel bad if she was bow legged because of me.

My baby will soon be too big for swings. I want to put him in a stand alone device. What are some experiences with the jumpers? (the contraption that baby sits in and the seat is hooked to "cables". The child then jumps all around.) Does this hinder development? i.e. walking on tip toes. Is a better bet using the seat-n-saucer type with toys around it?

She's 8 months old now and black & white with light brown hair that's also somewhat orange in the sun.
Even I (the white part) have wavy hair.
Will she stay the way she is now?
No, it's not important - I'm just curious.
