Yes i trust babysitters .

But a good way to trust them is know them really well or know there parents. It will help ease the pain of leaving you children in someone Else's hands for the evening.

Yes, but good reliable trustworthy babysitters are hard to find. Selecting a stranger to care for your child is one of the toughest decisions a parent has to make, so if you do not have your family living locally, then choose a babysitter wisely.

A good babysitter will:
Meet you and your children before babysitting for the first time.
Provide you with evidence that they have experience caring for children.
Provide references/testimonials from other parents for whom they have babysat.
Provide phone numbers of families who can provide a verbal reference.

Try to find a babysitter who has a proven track history... who has all the relevant background checks, first aid and childcare training. The more confident you can be about your babysitters experience and suitability, the happier you will be to leave your children in their care.

Nope. We live far from family, so I don't have that option. I don't trust strangers with my kids. In the 4 years I've lived here, I've used a sitter twice, and only for an hour each time. Even then, it was after my youngest was old enough to talk well. I might have a friend watch them, but I doubt it. If I can't get the errand done while they are in school or my husband can't watch them, it doesn't get done. Its just that easy. Too many crazy people out there nowdays! Even in my own screwed up family, only my parents or sister would be allowed to watch my kids, noone else!

. when my kids where young, I had a babysitter. you can not always get family to watch the kids. get to know the babysitter and his or her family. see her your kids get along with the babysitter. mommy and daddy need time to themselves to talk and communicated adult talk. mother of three adults. I enjoyed the time my husband and I where alone, sometimes the children did come with us but it is nice to be alone. yes you do have to be careful very careful, who you have for a babysitter

It all depends on the situation. Do you know the person or are you trusting a stranger? I only trust people I know and have seen them interact with children on more than one occasion. I am a mother of four and have seen alot of bad stuff.

The only people I trust to watch my babies are my parents, my fiance's parents, my relatives, cousins, friends, ect...
It cannot just be any random person, and I do NOT trust babysitting services.
