Spelling it that way is different. My grandma's name is Xenia. That is a traditional Hungarian name.

I think its a great name... it is my name. There were times when I was much younger that I wished I had a more common name - but now I wouldn't trade it for the world. These are different times... you wouldn't know it judging from some of the close minded responses you have received BUT then again you have to consider the source. If you like the name - then go for it!... and don't listen to the idiots who tell you differently!

I named my daughter Teri, it was short, easy, I thought common, but she cannot ever find anything printed with her name on it and she dislikes her name because of this. I named my son Mick and the same thing, nothing is ever printed with his name on it. They both hate their names. Consider for a moment what your child might think of his/her name.
