I had my daughter December 11th and every since then my taste buds are all off. Nothing taste good to me anymore. I feel like I have been drinking salt water. Has this happened to anyone else after giving birth, and if so how long did it take for them to get straightened back out? Is this something that I need to take? Please serious answers only. Thanks.

my 5 month old baby was sleeping very good, only waking up once. But now she is waking up twice, and she won't go to sleep if i don't give her her bottle, but the thing is that she doesn't eat , and she falls asleep right away. or i just put her in her crib again and she falls asleep by her self.
thanks

I just had a baby and I used to smoke but I quit cold turkey when my husband and I were trying to conceive. Now I have a beautiful baby girl but the urge to smoke a cigarettes has gotten to me. Before I would smoke once in a great while and lately I've been stressing I breastfeed and formula feed my baby but is it bad to smoke a cigarette. Can it pass through the breast milk. I'm just going to smoke one cigarette.

This may be a little long............I may be overreacting a little, but for being a first time mom I dont really think that i am, we were at an in laws house last night and my half sister in law just loves our new baby, wants another one of her own, but can have one........so given she acts like when we come over its hers! Okay i dont have a problem with that, but last night she decides to go goo goo gaga and stick her fingers in my babys mouth for like 3 minutes playing with her, cuz my baby loves suckiing on her own fingers, am I nuts for thinking that is totally wrong and disgusting and way out of line.........I just felt like it was rude and uncalled for. I would like peoples comments. Thanks!!!

My six-month-old daughter is completely mesmerized by the movement, colors, and sound of the TV. Every time we have it on (which isn't really much; probably less than five hours a week total), she is glued to it. I know that she's too young to be morally influenced by anything on TV, but how bad is it for her to watch it at all, in terms of health and safety, and even her perceptions of people? Is it ok to allow her to "watch" tv with her dad and me, when we do have it on? Thx for any thoughts or experiences you might share.

I heard some people wait an hour or so before putting anything into their mouth (Food, drink, etc. Well maybe besides coffee) Does it really matter? Could you maybe get a stomach ache if right when you woke up you had a three course breakfast meal?
