WOW
I love the name Scout!
My favorite girl names are Bea and Tatum, however it does not fit with Scout really.
(my middle name is Renee, which is one of your ideas)
Scout Natalia is the one I like best that you have chosen
I also like:
Cricket
Paige
and
Aspen

I enjoyed the book and all, but naming children the common names of charaters from classic literature is kinda... bold. I wish I was ballsy enough to do something like that.

Maybe you could pick Atticus or Boo for her sibling.

Seriously though. I like Nikole, but not that spelling. But the two together sound nice.

Have you considered using Scout as the middle name? I go by my middle name. It opens up a lot of other possibilities for names. Some names sound better when placed second to other names, others when theyre the first. For example, Paige Amanda wouldnt work and amanda would be thrown out. But Amanda Paige sounds very nice, making amanda an option.

Just a thought.

How about Master as in Scout master? That is the dumbest name i have ever heard. Demi Moore can get away with having a kid named Scout but I don't think anyone else should try it. You are setting your kid up for a live of being the school bully's favorite target. I used to be a bully I know.

There isn't really a good mn for Scout, it will still sound like a boy dog in the end. I really dislike it. I kow it's your baby, but I think it's important that you think about her feelings. When she's older, I doubt she's going to be overjoyed to have the name Scout.

I do, however, think it would be a fine nickname or even middle name. I just don't think it's fair to give it as a first name.

If my mom named me Scout I would never forgive her. It doesn't sound like a name for a person and certainly not for a girl. It's a boys nickname. I wish her the best of luck in school.

Why don't you use Scout as the middle name - and just call her by her middle name?
I like Samantha Scout
Bethany Scout
Marissa Scout
Natali Scout

... that way if your daughter doesn't like her name (I think its unique :-) she can go by her 1st name when she gets older.
Just a suggestion :)

Congrats and Goodluck!

How about JeanLouise, since the name Scout comes from 'To Kill A Mockingbird'.

Make the middle name plain since the first isn't like Brooklynn Marie for example. You don't want two different names...

Although I do like Scout Belle even though it kinda sounds funny.
