my 5 month old baby was sleeping very good, only waking up once. But now she is waking up twice, and she won't go to sleep if i don't give her her bottle, but the thing is that she doesn't eat , and she falls asleep right away. or i just put her in her crib again and she falls asleep by her self.
thanks

She is cutting teeth. My son didn't get teeth truly until about month seven, but a few months before then, he would wake up during the night and cry. He usually slept very soundly. The doctor told me this was the case. So I would get up and rub the numbing gel on his gums and he would go right back to sleep. Sometimes before I put the gel on I would breast feed, just so he wouldn't realize he was hungry! It worked like a charm. Your baby could also be cold; even though we had the heat on, he only used a tiny blanket so I put two sleepers on him and this worked very well. He slept "like a baby" :).

could be any # of reasons. It is cold and flu season maybe she just don't feel good babies don't have to show signs of being ill to just not be feeling good. My 15 day old baby has been super restless the last 2 nights he sneezes all night wakes up every 1-2 hours acts hungry only eats a 1oz bottle. Babies go thru stages where they don't sleep as well. My other kids are 11 and 9 both of em went thru stages up till age two where every so often they woke up a few times a night.

That sounds normal to me. My 19 month old still needs to feed over night, but because he sleeps with us he doesn't actually wake up, just snuffles on over and attaches:) I also need to eat at night sometimes and can't sleep if I'm hungry, so it seems unnecessarily cruel to not feed a baby if they want it. Studies show that the introduction of solids has no effect on babies sleep patterns. Most babies won't be able to digest solid food before 6 months, is there any reason you've introduced solids so early? Watch weight gain, I know many people who have had problems through early introduction of solids, and it is linked to (among other things) adult obesity.

There is this really strange pattern that emerges when babies hit that 5-6 month marker. Their sleep habits sort of get tossed about, and have to settle themselves again. Part of it MAY be teething (although usually teething is accompanied by lots of crying as well), but it might just be a little temporary hitch in her routine.
Someone suggested rice cereal in the bottle, which I disagree with. Unless of course she has begun solids already, in which case you might try spoon feeding rice cereal at dinner time. It's been disproven as a "sleep aid", so really, there isn't much point.
She is probably aware that you are no longer in the room. The powers of perception become quite good as they get older.
Hang in there. Wait and see if perhaps it resolves on its own. I know its tough!

I have a six month old that just started doing this as well. For him I think it is beacuse he is having a bit of separation anxiety and just wants to know I am there for him. I have to get him a bottle and he takes three or four swallows and then goes back to sleep. It's frustrating when he was sleeping so well before, but my doctor said that he'll probably get back to through the night in a few weeks. I think babies just go through a million different phases. Once I think I've figured him out and we are in a routine, things change. Good luck!

She is probably waking up because she's hungry. Try adding a little bit of rice cereal to her bottle. I did this very early on and had my daughter sleeping throughout the night at 2 months of age.

I agree with the other answers. But you might try this too: I found if I fed my babies their oatmeal or whatever right before bed, they slept very soundly.
It is like when you eat right before bed and fall into a 'stupor'... much harder to rouse yourself from sleep when your body is busy digesting.
