I am having a baby this month and we have a problem with mice.
I heard about the electronic pest control but I am wondering if it is safe to have in my house when I bring the baby home?

Is that the silent noise that is supposed to hurt the ears of a mouse? If it is it didn't work at all for me! The good ole mouse trap with peanut butter worked the best for us. Well anyway we had that when we had our baby and it was fine with him. Although we returned it b/c it didn't work. Make sure you try to keep your floors clean when your baby starts to crawl and your bottles safe in a cabinet so mice can not run across them. Mice carry disease that could harm your baby. We moved!

You mean the kind that emits a noise that repels mice?

As far as I know the frequency it uses is well above the range of human hearing so it should be safe. If it is over 30kHz should be fine. Otherwise ask a doctor.
