I have this friend who's 17 and she's having a baby and I don't know what to get her. We don't find out what the baby is for another week, so it's gotta be kinda co-ed for now. And it has to be fed-ex-able since she lives a couple hours away.

I dont want to come off weird or have anyone think (or type) that im a pervert. BUT i've always wondered, when u breast feed your child what stops it from feeling good? I mean we all know it feels good when a man (or woman, what ever your preference is) licks or sucks the nipple what stops that same feeling when a baby does it. I was watching a show and they said that some woman even have orgasmns from it....is that true? If i have kids i'm so scared something like that feeling would happen. And what about those woman that breast feed even when the kid is 5, 6 or even 8. is there a law that says u have to stop at a certain age. I really am just wondering so PLEASE no one judge...i know its a weird question, i didnt even want to ask it!!! But i cant help my wondering mind.

My daughter is a month old, and I started giving her a bottle about 2 weeks ago, because I didnt think she was getting enough milk from my breasts. I still breastfeed her, but only once or twice a day. (the rest of the time I bottlefeed her) She does fine for the first few minutes then she acts like she can't hold on right, and gets frustrated so I end up giving her a bottle. Is there any way that I can get her used to breastfeeding again so I can stop giving her a bottle? Also... I know I'm still producing milk, but how do I tell if I am producing enough??

My wife and I just had a baby on Monday. My wife wants to breastfeed her, but the baby is having a hard time latching on correctly. It's been a couple days now, and I'm worried that she's not getting the food she needs. Should we bottle feed her while trying to get her to latch on?

She opens her mouth to receive the spoon, but spits it out constantly. we have tried for over a week now and have tried the cereal and pears. She is 4 months old. Any tips on how to encourage her to eat? Or is this the tongue reflex still present?

I got some "old-school" advice from someone this past weekend that the best way to clear my 1-year old son's stuffy nose is to blow in his mouth. This person said that the air blown in his mouth will in turn force the mucous to come out of his nose. I'm a littly wary abou this. It seems that I may damage his little lungs in some way by doing this. I really hate to see him all stuffed up and I've tried every cold remedy imaginable including saline drops, medications, suction, and warm vapors. Nothing works! This lady swore by this method and she is currently raising four grandchildren (which I assume she has used this method on) and they seem to be doing fine. Does anyone know if this actually works?

I think his is cutting a new tooth but I can't see it. I was able to feel a pointy type thing under his gums but there's nothing visible yet. He is crying a lot and I've tried everything from teething tablets to orajel. What can I do to comfort him? I've done the teething "toys" and I hate to see him in pain. He's also got a runny nose. Is that associated with teething? The mucus is clear so he doesn't have an infection, but his nose is stuffy and runny at the same time if that makes sense. What can I do to comfort him and is the runny/stuffy nose apart of teething?
