At what age should you stop swaddling an infant? Our baby is 3 weeks old and we were recently told that we should stop swaddling so as to not restrict the movement of the baby...Is this true? We have a fussy baby that only seems to be calmed by this method, but we do not want to hurt him in any way. Your help is appreciated.

I bought Parents Choice from walmart, which says on it that its same as Enfamil with Lipil. But the pediatritian said that Enfamil or Similac are best. Anyone have experience with whats best? My take is enfamil or similac are considered best because its widely available, where as Parents choice is only in Walmart. Any help would be appreciated!

I have a 10 month old baby girl who i give Gerber cereal in her bottle? I have heard of other people that do the same, but never heard that it was dangerous, until recently chating with other mothers. Her pediatrition has never suggested that it could be harmful. So i was just wondering if this other mother is right.

My son just refuses to eat his rice cereal, even when we put it in his bottle.. I think he really needs it now, because he's getting up more often to eat now than he use to. The Dr told us to give him 2tbls a day with 4 oz of formula as well, but when we give it to him with a spoon, he lets it sit in his mouth and looks at us like we're giving him poison.. (He's so cute when he makes those faces) But any suggestions on getting him to actually EAT the cereal.. We've been going about this for over a week now, with no improvements. Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

hello,
i have an 11 month old son who has always been a good baby but recently he's not sleeping much at all, which i think might have something to do with teething he's getting his 5th tooth! anyway he's just started getting into everything and is getting around on his own which means i am constantly chasing him all over the place.
i am due in 5 days with another baby and although i have help from my fiance when he's not working im still finding it kind of hard and worried im not going to cope with 2 babies.
this pregnancy wasn't planned but very wanted and i'm planning on going on the pill afterwards, but was wondering if any parents out there might have had the same experience as i'm having and if u have any advice? will it get easier....
i love being a mother and look forward to raising my 2 boys, but my fiance is worried i'm not coping because i'm constantly being brought to tears when i feel i'm not doing anything right with my son. i can't stand seeing him cry!

My baby's umbilical cord fell off today, he has a very small hernia which I read that if it is small it will go away in a few days. Its also still kinda gooey and a little bloody, is this normal, I read it is for the next couple of weeks, but I would like to hear it from someone who knows. Also I have just been giving him a sponge bath, can I give him a normal bath now, and can I put the diaper on normal now (where it covers his belly button)?
