I did my little boys room (he is now 6 months old) in a cowboy theme. I had a really hard time finding some decorations so I made my own stencils and painted his room myself. Now though, I see cowboy stuff everywhere. I also made a quilt out of bandanas and denim, a bumper pad out of bandanas. He has a rocking horse that hangs on the wall, a stuffed horse in the corner, a sign that says welcome to the wild west, a cowboy boot plant holder, and a wild bill cody poster. We found most of these things at yard sales and flea markets. It will take some looking around, but there are so many neat things out there that you can use. Be creative, use your imagination. I wanted something that would be ok for a baby but would grow up with him as he does.

Find something that is neutral. That way the same decor can be used if you have more children.

Babies don't see well when they are born, and unless you have BRIGHT colors on the wall, your nursery is just going to be a blob of nothing to your baby. And once your baby CAN recognize shapes and animals, he will want to paint his room his OWN way. Our son loves farm animals, so it's a farm. That's a far cry from the sweet Safari we used for his nursery!

Dr. Seuss

Trains or Thomas the Tank

Space

Dinosaurs

Sesame Street

Letters

These can also grow with the baby and adapt until he gets old enough to choose his own theme.

I choose classic pooh for my baby. The colors are so soft and neutral and I still love it till this day. Its so classy and my daughter loves the older pooh characters. Classic pooh is different from the pooh now adays. Its the older version. Good luck

Hi. I'm having a boy too. Check out kidsline.com, or google kidsline.com for other stores that sell it. They have really great designs, and then you'll really have a hard time deciding!

I like animals like the jungle or ducks or the farm. When he starts to talk it will be fun for the two of you to talk about what is on his walls and what the animals say.
