What remedies (other than brewers yeast or mothers milk tea) are there for me to get it back

I have just recently started having trouble changing my 8 month old's diaper. He is incredibly strong. He keeps flipping over, screaming, screeching, and crawling away when I'm trying to change his diaper. I've tried giving him toys to distract him. I've tried holding his arms down with my legs. I've tried continuously flipping him back over. I'm trying to teach him the word "no", but he is not grasping the meaning yet. Nothing that I've tried has worked. I have reached the point where I dread the next diaper change soley because of the fight that it brings. I forgot to mention that I'm a stay at home, so this fight happens 10 to 12 times per day. I have changed many diapers in my life, but I have never seen a child fight this hard. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm so exhausted.

He is healthy, full of energy and a good weight, drinks his milk, and pureed food, but won't eat anything thicker - and will make himself sick - impossible to get him to eat anything with meat in it, or anything with 'bits'. He has eight teeth, and is now on iron each day. Is this common?? When will he be able to eat thicker food, I think he should now be able to eat little pieces of bread and fruit, but it's just not happening.

Is it ok to let your 5-6 month old baby sit upright in there swing at night to sleep? I heard that it can cause back problems. Is this true? I dont have a child, but i was wondering.

I know that breastmilk can be left at room temp for several hours but what about if I mix up a bottle from powder formula...how long can that sit out before I have to disgard it, if she hasn't drank from it at all?

OB/Gyn said they didn't have any info. CVS pharmacist was wishy-washy; said it should be fine since it's a supplement, then said no since there's no research. Am still waiting for a call from the Pediatrician, so thought I'd ask here and see what kind of answers I get.

or should I worry?

Also, when she's sitting in her high chair, she's always leaning to one side... why? Do you think there's something wrong with her? How can I get her to sit up?

Thanks!

I have been sober and holding a steady job for 3 months, I want unsupervised visits with my 7 week old son....would judge allow it if I have no car, live with my mother whom smokes and has a restraining order against the mother of my child (my mom is nuts not my wife long story), My wife refuses to let me leve with our baby, she has alot of police reports to give to the judge to show my instability but for 3 month I have been clean. She is bipolar but stable for 2 years and is in school making A's. will the judge let me take my child? I dont want an attorney but I have not seen my child n a month because I refuse to visit under supervision.

My wife is breasfeeding our 6 week old baby boy and we are having trouble understanding why he is a perfect angel some days and other days he is very fussy. At first, we thought it might be colic. But he is not fussy every day and the days he IS fussy, he's fussy and grouchy all day long. Now we are thinking that it could be something my wife is eating, which is upsetting his stomach. The list of foods that can potentially upset our baby boy is HUGE! Basically my wife can eat meat and drink water - that's it!

What else could it be? He has good days (the entire day and night) and other days (entire day and night) he will be fussy and grouchy. Any ideas/advice/recommendations?

Okay seriously, hubby and I were at the movie theater the other weekend, watching SAW III (it was great btw!), and as we were exiting, I saw this lady carrying a baby in a carrier. I was shocked - I mean of all movies to take a kid to - SAW III. Hubby laughed at me and said 'hey that's the best age, they won't remember anything'. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I can't believe someone would bring a baby to that movie. But hubby says I'm over reacting.

I am still nursing her, and she is not at ALL liking the homogenated milk, nor even 2%. I've given it cold, and warmed to room temp, but she makes faces and spits it out. Any advice on how to make this transition?

Any advice would be appreciated!! :o)

Thanks in advance!
