I think it's fine if you go when other parents will be bringing their children, an early movie would be best. If it's a kids movie you should be ok. Also, in my area, several of the theaters have a day where parents can bring kids to a movie, it's not as loud, you can bring a stroller in and everything. One place calls it "diaper days" I have done it a few times, there are kids crying and kids playing and I was just happy to be out of the house. It's all white noise to me.

I have had pets my entire life. I now have a 2 year old and a 6 month old. I have had water dragons, turtles, fish, mice, hamsters, cats and dogs through out their lives. I think you can have any type of pet you want PROVIDED you can give the pet an excellent quality of life while still providing the same for your baby. Getting a new pet while you have a baby may be time consuming and even difficult. But if you think you can take on the responsibility of a new pet, rabbit, with a baby then GO FOR IT! Good luck :o)

I think taking a young child to the movie theatre is a rather rude thing to do. If you were to go to a show and a child near you made noises, cried, kicked and squirmed about, even need their diaper changed, I imagine you'd be rather upset as it would interfere with your enjoyment of the film. I'm quite certain that at some point most of us have had an evening at the movies ruined by such a thing.

Fortunately, there are now many theatres which now have specific "baby shows" for parents with young children or children who cannot be still and quiet for the length of a movie. If I were you, I'd call the local movie houses and see if any of them have baby shows. If they don't, please suggest that they start having them as baby shows are such a happy solution for everyone.

Way too little. Maybe when the kid is a little older. You absolutely never know how an infant is going to act from one second to the next. Never mind 2 hours. So wait till she is at least 2-3 and can tell you, Hey Ma get me the hell outta this place, I dont like it. And not only that what if she doesnt stop crying you will waist your money and also people would be annoyed. So try to get a sitter or wait for the DVD

No, don't bring the baby. First of all, she won't get anything out of seeing the movie and the sound level might freak her out... Secondly, if I was in the theater with your freaked out infant who started screaming, I'd be annoyed.

Buy it when it comes on DVD and watch it with her when she's a little older.... She'll actually enjoy it more.

I dont think its a good idea but hell, when I went to see a movie last weekend (Saw 3) there were 2 babies in the same row as I was. I would never do that, but I guess some people do.

It's cool that you wanna bring your baby girl out but I think a theatre might not be the best thing. 2 reasons, it's dark and loud in a theatre and theres lots of strange people around. It might scare her. You could try but be prepared to leave early if she gets upset. Hats off to you though for being a great dad and spending time with your baby.

It's not the best idea unless you are okay with the fact that you may not be able to see the entire movie. Bcuz if the baby starts acting out you will hv to leave right away! Get a sitter, you will feel so much more relaxed, and you will be able to enjoy the movie!

I took my babies to the movies when they were very young. What I did was stand at the back of the theater while the previews were going so they could get used to the noise levels etc. Then as the movie began we would have a seat.

Make sure she's hungry when you get there. That way she'll be busy with her bottle for a while.

You can bring her, but just make sure she doesn't cry or fuss through the movie, or it will irritate those around you. I've taken babies to the movies before, and they slept through it. I think she's to young to acutally watch the movie and comprehend it, though. You can give it a try and see how she does. You can always walk out if she's not handling it. Good luck and have fun, it looks like a cute movie!
