My daughter is 9 months old and having a really hard time with her teething. She has 4 teeth coming out at once. In my opinion I really shouldn't give her tylenol to ease the pain. But I was reading the label and the indications are for fever, pain, teething. What do you think?

Does anyone have any suggestions about this, I wish there was one in both. It's hard carrying a baby, a purse, and a diaper bag.

Hello all. I'm in desperate need of help here. I have a 17 month old girl, Olivia. I'm not at all in denial that she's not very good. She's always done kind of odd things for a baby and just today I sat down and made a mental list of everything that I think leads to some type of psychological problem she may have. She has a very constant whine/whimper. She will be walking by herself and just starting whining. When she gets angry if she doesn't get her way she pulls her hair and very hard, usually ending up pulling a large chunk out to which she doesn't seem affected by. She's done this since she was about 5 months old. Just the other day she started biting herself and leaving marks when she's angry. She will be sound asleep and let out a deafening scream and not wake up. She also is always rocking back and forth. Whether she's standing or sitting, just constantly rocking. She's very mean for her age too and always has been. She literally gets enjoyment out of making someone cry.

My last name is Piatracatelli, and NOTHING goes with that. We like alot of modern names, but yet traditional can be good too. I am starting to freak out. My husband and I can't think of any names that we like, or agree on. We are also having a touch time with middle names. We don't like the normal "marie" or "nicole" type middle names either. If you can help us with suggestions, that would be awesome :) thanks so much, Stephanie.

I just had my baby 3 weeks ago...and I am still bleeding. I had an infection a week and a half after she was born in my uterus...is this the infection not having cleared up or is this normal to still bleeding this long after? When does it finally go away?

My son is horribly fussy at the exact same time for the exact same length of time every day. I've tried to feed him more, give him a nap, a bath and so on, and nothing works. He works himself into hysterics, and I can't seem to comfort him.

What is this and has anyone else's baby done this?

I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas/sites for affordable, healthy ways to lose about 10 lbs. while breasfeeding (my daughter is a little over 4 months old). I lost all my baby weight but gained it all back! I'd like to find a structured, day-by-day diet that I can follow that won't cost me an arm and leg to follow. I love to cook so preparing my own meals isn't a problem. Thanks in advance!

My baby is now 6 months old, i been trying different baby foods with him like gerber. My question though concerns Oatmeal, not the instant flavored kind but the 100% rolled oats, not flavored and nothing special about it. Would Cooked, mashed oatmeal (Cooled of course) be an option to feed baby?

my daughter will be 1 on the 27th.....last we checked she's 16lbs, 9 oz & 26 1/2 in. long. Is this normal for her age? She looks & acts just fine to me, but my mom says she doesn't eat enough & she's too small. She usually eats however much cooked 2Tbsp. dry oats makes, 6-10 berries & pieces of eggplant for breakfast as well as diluted almond milk for lunch, when I'm away. At night & the days I'm there she just nurses, which my mom no longer considers "real food"...........Is my baby the right size for her age? Also, how do I get her to start crawling?
(plz don't say, "ask the pediatrician", she has an appt., I'm just checking in the meantime.)
thx

I know it sounds silly, but I don't know if I want to breast-feed. My husband thinks it's selfish because if I don't, I wouldn't be doing everything possible to give the baby a healthy start to life. I know breast-feeding has many nutritional and health benefits, but I just don't like the thought of doing it personally. Do you think my husband is right?

Plus, it doesn't seem fair that I would be the one getting up in the middle of the night to feed while he sleeps. I can't stand the thought of pumping either.
