My baby usually gets fussy around the same time every day and its usually because she needs a nap or is just bored with what we are doing. but please.... referring to KAT0421.. please please please don't let your 12 week old "cry-it-out". At 12 weeks old they need to know that you are there for them, to comfort them when they are anxious or scared. The cry-it-out method is an extremely harsh method and should be discouraged. Think of how your baby feels ( especially at night), all of a sudden she starts to cry ( all of a sudden to you at least) and you just let her cry-it-out, she screams for you and still nothing she turns her head side to side trying to find comfort... nothing she continues to scream until her throat is sore and she cant possibly wail any more her crys subside... throat sore and tears weld up... she listens nothing but silence... she begins to cry again... screaming with all she has left and then unable to scream any more her needs aren't met, she gives up and goes back to sleep ALONE. The reason your baby cries is because they need something whether it be attention, love, food whatever, they cry because its the only way they know how to communicate with you. Please if your baby cries, comfort him or her until they stop crying and their needs are met.

Totally normla both my kids did it...
good news is it typically stops before 4 months
tips
Lay baby down on back and smile and laugh, try to do this when you notice them starting to squirm a bit.
Sit on the edge/corner of bed hold baby sideways against your chest and bounce.
Turn lights off and play with a toy that lights up great distracter.
Play music and dance the waltz..it activates some thing in the ear i don't remember what it is called butit soothes babies from the 3 step motion..

What time of day?
A lot of babies get fussy in the evening around dinner time. There is a lot of activity in the house.....people getting home from school/work, dinner being prepared and served, etc. Sometimes it's refered to as "the witching hour" because it is often a fussy time for babies too.

I'm not sure if theres anything to do but my son had a spell of doing that exact same thing and no one believed my until they saw it. I just wanted to say I know exactly what you are talking about. The only difference was my son was 4 and 5 when he did it. If you give any kind of juice that is red stop giving it to him. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with it but I still don't give him red anything anymore.

basically, it is because he is so tired, so about 40 mins before this happens, hold him ,read to him, show him the pictures, let him hear only his mother's voice, no tv on, no music, no phone ringing, (shut the ringer)
i gather this is your first child, the bonding between mother and child, connects right away, but, sometimes, it takes a bit longer to "get" to know each other....
if that doesn't work, then intrigue him, into using his mind, to interact with you, whether it be a small teddy just playing with him, again, NO INTERRUPTIONS.......
he Will get to realize, this is "his" special time with mom...
and, most importantly, DON'T over feed him, food NEVER quiets a baby down....
hold him, dance with him, love him look into his eyes and talk to him, the sound of moms voice, well, there's nothing better than that to a baby...
GOOD LUCK : )

i'm so sorry on your loss :( this is terrible! the comparable situation befell to me with a rabbit kit- she went into marvel, this is the form you got here upon your bunny- somewhat shifting, having difficulty respiratory. do you realize what brought about her dying? I fed her grapes. I never throught it would be an argument because of the fact my person bunny had them each and every of the time, yet grapes are poisonous to toddler rabbits. prefer to renowned the WORST situation? Many rabbit ingredients contain raisins and sultanas of their rabbit nutrition mixes. i individually rehabilitated Fiat somewhat until eventually now she ultimately died, and she or he replaced into waiting to eat somewhat greater, yet I gave her her common nutrition which of direction, she ate the sultanas in :( are you able to remember what you fed your bunny? If there have been grapes interior the nutrition, then your older bunny should not be affected. the different situation that could reason a reaction like this is warmth stroke, which i assume, relies upon on the place you reside. right here in Australia this is particularly warm, so warmth stroke is a typical clarification for dying in bunnies. it relatively is counteracted with fluid scientific care via your vet. different issues that could reason surprising dying like this contain stress (like predators close to the cage- regularly the recent bunnies are greater vulnerable than people who've lived there for a on an analogous time as and understand the ordinary) which will reason coronary heart assaults and dying, regrettably. Im unsure if any of those issues is what could have killed your little kit, regardless of if it grants some suggestions. i'm very sorry on your loss :(

What time of the day was he born? It may not have anything to do with it, but it's a shot in the dark. Maybe his little mind is remembering birth. That could be very traumatic!!

My son used to do this at 11:00 every night. He eventually stopped but it was so frustrating. I just held him and rocked him while he screamed.

You probably just need to put him in the crib and let him cry it out. Even if it takes a little while.. It might sound harsh, but it lets him know at a young age who's in control. He's probably over tired when he does that anyways... Good luck
