I always think it is best to meet the person first before you pick a name for them.
Peace!
PS - you know what might go with your last name is Persephone (pronounced PER sef ony) - Persy for a nickname. I also find Louise is a great middle name that goes with a lot of names.

could it be you have been spending too much time worrying about this? what are some of the names that run either in your family or your husband's family? are there names in your family you would consider giving to the girls? You say you like alot of modern names as well. just take it easy - maybe you and your husband could spend a day going through all kinds of names from "A" to "z". that may be the best way to go about it. you can try all kinds of first and middle names that way.

I agree with what a lot of the others are saying about waiting til their born & looking at them a while, but just try to relax, sit down with your hubby, write out a list of names that you like (forget the last name a while...) and when they're born you can look over your list. I had 1 child I named completely different than what I told EVERYONE including dr.'s & nurses! They usually give you a day or two before you HAVE to fill out the birth certificate. Congradulations and good luck!

Write down the the choices for the names (one list first, one list middle) look over them (if it helps, get a baby name book, you can find it at the library) and say them aloud as if you are talking to your child see which on you like when you say it.
My husband and I were going to name our daughter Anna Leigh (but that name was taken 2 months before our daughter was born, and we chose that name when we were 5 months pregnant) we then did the list of names we liked and said them aloud, Finally we came to a name.....Veronica Leigh Chavez (first name after my mother) and that name wasn't on our list.
Don't worry, relax and look at all the options, I'm sure you'll find the right one for your daughters. Congrats

What do you mean, nothing sounds good with that last name? I wouldn't go that far...I think as long as the first name doesn't end in an "i" or "y" (with the same sound as the last syllable of your surname), lots of names will work.
I think names with an "en" or "an" ending will sound find with your last name...like Jaiden, Kailen, Devon, etc.
Get a baby name book if you don't already have one, and really sit down and go through it...something will come to you, trust me.
