See the link below on fenugreek. It is the most effective herbal remedy for boosting supply. (Although remember that if you aren't nursing/pumping enough, nothing else will work! Supply and demand!) The typical dosage is 3-4 capsules 3x per day. There are a few people who should not take fenugreek, so be sure to read the link for more info.

Nurse your baby more. Also you can eats lots of oatmeal and take fenugreek capsules. There is a tincture available called "More Milk Plus" that is available.

If she is eating solids, either cut them out for a while, or nurse her for as long as she will before each meal.

You may also want to speak with a lactation consultant or LaLecheLeague leader.

Add an extra nursing session everyday and after a week your supply should come back up. Also make sure you are getting plenty to eat, plenty of rest and plenty of fluids. Without these your supply will go down.

Pump. If you are pumping on a regular basis, like every 2 hours, your milk will start to return in both breasts and will flow more generously for you baby.

Good luck!

It is not unusual. Are you more active and have reduced your fluid intake? I breast fed for 9 months and to reduce the flow I had to cut down on my fluid intake. But we are not all the same. Try more liquid intake.

the more you nurse the more milk your body produces... remember your baby nurses on demand not on a schedule.
