I have a daughter who is 13 months and I am three months pregnant. They will be about 18 months apart. Any advice on how to prepare her of what to expect of the whole experience of bringing baby home?

For people's information it was an accident to ask it twice, I pressed the back button and then the forward and it listed it twice. No reason to be so rude, it's not like I ask many questions in the first place!

mine were 16 months apart. I have to say I didn't really prepare my oldest, but after her initial reaction (she slapped him in the forhead), they got along wonderfully, until she turned 8. they played together wonderfully.

I've heard that reading the older one books about becoming the older one is a great way to start. also to let them help with anything they can. bringing you things, helping you with baby's laundry, etc. will help also. letting her be the "big sister" should help.--------

I easily have 2 daughters 13 months aside. It replaced into very tuff. while going out having to hold milk and formulation. 2 distinctive gadgets of pampers, outfits, etc. One interior the carriage, yet another walking somewhat yet nonetheless needing a carriage many of the time. stable success it somewhat is tuff yet in destiny years it gets extra user-friendly.

My parents did, and apparently I really liked my baby brother. I don't remember it, but my parents said that they read me stories about babies, and explained that I'd have a brother, and when we had cuddle time they said to see if I could feel the baby kicking. Plus, I already had younger cousins, so I already kinda understood the concept of "baby".
