I know most babies love applesauce. Just stay away from citrusy things like oranges, those can upset their stomachs.

Try whatever you want. Most parents try applesauce or bans first. My son as recommend by his Dr was started on solids at his 2 month check up which is when they are psychologically ready. His first fruit was bananas just remember to wait a few days between introducing the new food to watch for allergies.

Usually anything in Stage 1 single ingrediant fruits. I started my little girl out on apples, then bannanas, then pears, and so on until she tried them all. But I started the fruits after the veggies. And Im sure you know that to try only one kind of food at a time for a few days to see if they develope an allergic reaction. I hope this helps.

Have you been giving him vegetables yet? They say that veggies are easier to start then fruit and they will eat better if you start veggies first. Fruit is sweeter, so they get the taste for sweet and don't want the veggies. But for fruit, try either applesauce or bananas. Both are easy on the tummy and easy to digest.

Bananas-baby food style. Premade applesauce can have sugar added. Peaches are too strong tasting to start with.
