My son is a little over 11 weeks. When we first had sex after the baby was born, it was extremely painful. It is best to use the woman on top position so you can be in control of depth etc. I had an episiotimy with my son and ended up with 6-8 stitches. That is where it hurt the most. It also helps to use lubrication to avoid too much friction. I'm still a little sore inside during sex, but it has gotten ALOT better. Just hang in there, you'll be ok.

Mm... we unnoticed the health practitioner and attempted it besides while our son used to be three weeks historical. I say attempted as we did not manipulate to head the entire method till four-five weeks. Penetration felt uncomfortable however the whole thing else used to be first-class! I did have a moderate upwards tear which used to be commonly why. I'd say if it feels cozy, move with it. A couple of hundred years in the past I doubt they had been all sitting round looking forward to the 6 week mark. The one quandary quite is when you have any open, unhealed wounds (and there's a risk you might have within that you do not know approximately) they would end up inflamed or if an air bubble determined it is method into your bloodstream that may be deadly. I reckon when you have whatever like that you'll be able to suppose it quickly sufficient. Take it gradual... and take into account even supposing making a decision to attend earlier than penetrative intercourse, there may be nonetheless tons extra you'll rise up to ;) Have a laugh!

I had second degree tearing and I was in agony. It takes a few times for it to stop hurting. Also my GYN told me to use a lot of lubricant as hormonal levels are still not normal and cause a lot of dryness which can also contribute to pain. If you're breastfeeding, this can also lead to vaginal dryness and discomfort.

You still may be healing from the stitches, but you should call your doctor and ask, so you know that there is not a serious problem going on.

I remember the pain from that time. I would get a good lubricant like KY. It gets better and easier with time, but you may find that the lubricant makes things easier even when it isn't painful.

It could be. It takes time to heal. You might want to get checked out. Two stiches isnt bad at all for a tear, but there might be scar tissue.
Have your OB check it out for you.

It is normal but it is going to take time for everything to feel the way you want it. Next time just go slow and it should be ok.

You may take longer to heal then others and that is ok, make sure your partner understands and experiment very gently until the area is completly healed...
