4 months is when you can start their first foods rice cereal. If you breastfeed you can wait till 6 mnths. Once they have that down then you can start jar food, veggies first.

usually about 3 -4 months old you can stard feeding the baby some applecauce etc. When you go shopping pay attention to the Babyfood glasses you find in the stoe .They will tell you for which month they are . The more our kind solid food you need to wait with yet

Some moms say 4 months, others say 6 months. But really solid food is just practice for the first year of life, they really need breastmilk or formula.

my doctor told me that it is ok to start feeding my baby solids when he is able to sit up with little help. which is anywhere between 5 and 6 maonths.

4-8 months, it depends on the baby, but you shouldn't star earlier than 4 months. If the baby keeps pushing it out with his/her tongue, he/she is not ready......
