Ok heres the deal: he's almost 4 months old, and his doctor told me to feed him rice cereal with his milk(started when he was 2 months because he was so underweight). Can I start giving him juice, too? I've already tried it and he likes it, but my in-laws (who haven't had any children of there own in about 20 years) said it was a bad idea. Can I give him watered-down Juicy-Juice? And when can I start spoon feeding him baby food?

My 4 month old son has been sick and the doctor told us to give him some pedialyte because hes not eating correctly and she doesn't want him to get deydrated. But she forgot to give us the dosage for a 4 month old the bottle only has the dosage for a 1+ year old. How much do we give him?

I have a 5 day old newborn baby. I was wondering, how many of you dropped your baby or had your baby roll off of something? Did you go straight to the hospital or see what the baby done? My father said he dropped me when I was younger and just watched me for an hour to make sure that I was fine instead of going to the hospital, so I was just wondering. O and by the way I had a beautiful baby boy named Ethan Wyatt and he weighed 8lbs 3 1/2 oz and was 20 inches long. :)

he drank 2 ounze about an hour ago, and couple drops of water before that.
now he is sleeping, when he wakes up and he drinks another 2 ounze or so, is it still important to bring him to the ER. i would bring him in a minute. but my husband (who is a very good father and worries about him too), sais, that he is not dehydrated as he drank 2 ounze an hour ago, and in total maybe 8 ounze today, although probably most of it he vomitted and had diarreah, please answer me quickly, thanks

My son is five and a half months old. What are some normal things he should be doing at this point and what will he start doing in the next few weeks? So far he can roll from his back to his stomach and he plays with his feet and he can sit up with very little support. Any idea on how long until hes sitting on his own?

is it only for when my baby who has a cold has fewer, or can you use it, so he doesn't feel sick.

the doctor said, i could give him fewerall just so he feels better, without having fewer.

do you do this like that too???

thanks again,

a very helpless and worried mother

he vomitted yesterday night and this afternoon too, and had diarreah today, twice. the doctor said i should give him pedialite, but he doesn't want any fluids, neither almost none of his formula, in total he had today 4 ounze formula in the morning, which he vomitted about 6 hours later, and in the afternoon maybe 1 ounze and this evening 2 ounze, pedialite almost none, couple drops of water he took.

how do you get them to drink,

is it very bad if he doesn't drink, he doesn't have wet diapers either.

he is very alert most of the time, but every now and then he seems tired or lethargig, but not much.

when should i bring him to the er? when he vomits again, or only when he vomits another 2 or 3 times???

doctor said, the diarreah is not so bad, the bad thing is the vomitting, do you agree.

thanks

She fights her bottle by pushing it out with her tounge and pushing it away with her hands and crying. She does this after drinking only 2 oz. In previous weeks she was drinking about 4-5 oz. at every feeding. What would have caused this change in her feeding habits? Maybe she isn't having a growth spurt, so she doesn't need to eat so much? Or a food allergy? I'm calling th doc tomorrow, but i'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas. Thanks!
