My son is 6 months old and I am wondering when he will be coordinated enough to feed himself with the bottle.

My son was about 7 months, not bad considering he had only been off the breast and using a bottle for about 3 weeks. My daughter was about 7 or 8 months as well.

The info online I have seen says 7-9 months. I left you a link

It's different for each child. My oldest was 8 months. My youngest didn't hold a bottle until he was almost a year. He knew he had it good. A great book is "What to Expect the First Year"

It probably won't be long now. My son held his own bottle around 7-8 months. I think that is normal.

My son was about 8-9 months old. Its a big acheivement and can leave you free to do other stuff while your baby drinks. And trust me...take the time when you can coz when they get older you will have no time to yourself.
