OK ALL WOMEN ARE DIFFERENT LET'S JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND. WELL WHEN I WAS PREG AND LOST MY MUCAS PLUG IT TOOK ME THREE WEEKS LATER , I WENT FULL TERM. BUT JUST KEEP AN EYE OUT, FOR CONTRACTIONS, AND TIME YOUR CONTRACTIONS. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN SIX CONTRACTIONS IN AN HOUR AND IF THEY LAST MORE THAN A MINUTE THEN YOU NEED TO CALL YOUR DOC.ALSO LOOK OUT FOR LEAKING AND BLEEDING IF YOU HAVE HEAVY REGULAR PERIOD BLEEDING YOU REALLY NEED TO GO TO THE DOC..ALSO BE CAREFUL ABOUT HAVING SEX, WELL AS A MATTER OF FACT DO NOT HAVE SEX, AND DO NOT BATHE IN A BATH AND WATCH WHERE YOU GO TO THE RR, BECAUSE YOUR MUCUS PLUG IS WHAT KEEPS YOUR BABY FROM BACTERIA REACHING HIM/HER. OK
I HOPE MY INFO HELPS

With my first baby, I lost a gob of mucous 2 weeks before and then 1 week before I went into labor. With #2 & #3 I didn't have any until I was already in labor.

The important thing here is the color of the mucous. If it is clear or pink-tinged, as you say, it means that your cervix is dilating slightly; but it could still be days or even weeks before the baby is born. If it is really bloody, you are probably in labor.

Remember, the average length of pregnancy is 41 weeks +1 day for first-time moms, so hang in there!

I'm no help...I had to be induced due to pre-eclampsia, so for me it was just a few hours. However, I've heard it can be a day up to a couple of weeks once the plug starts to come out. Good luck and congrats!

I had to be induced, so I am not sure. I just wanted to say Congratulations! My daughter was due on the 11th of November, she was born on the 18th, she is about to be 7! CONGRATS again! Good Luck!
You should call your doctor, every woman is different.

after you lose your mucus plug labor can be anywhere from two hours to two days or even weeks away. sometimes it is the beginning of labor and sometimes not. i lost mine about 3 weeks ago but still no little one. but with it being so close to your due date hope for the best and congratulations

i really wouldn't know cause i never lost mine had a c-section cause my baby was to big and she was breech. but i have had friend's that had lost thier's and it could take any where from a coupld of hour's to a couple of week's. i had a friend that lost her's at being 7 month's pregnant and she carried her baby full term. so it just depend's on the person i think.CONGRATS.

I had contractions every 3 minutes for about 3 hours before I lost mine. My doctor had warned me about it before hand and told me to come to the hospital ASAP when I lost it. I lost mine at about midnight one night and had my son by 10:30 a.m. (Witch complications though, if not it would have been sooner) At least call your doctor and tell them you concerns.

I can't remember, but I think it can still be awhile before the birth. Watch for steady contractions or water leaking, not always a big gush, can be just a steady leak. :)
