The other morning I found I had run out of nappies for my 10 month old. I planned to take him straight to the shop to get more, but he decided to do a huge stinky. I couldnt take him out like that, so I tried making a substitute. Firstly I used a muslin cloth like a terry towelling nappy - and then cut 2 leg holes in a carrier bag, but it wouldnt stay on! Then I got one of my daughters dolls nappies, and put that on him with a pair of my daughters knickers to hold it in place! Oh what fun us mothers have! I dont plan on running out again, but just in case - any better ideas?!

My baby is going to be 5 months old and she still won't sleep through the night. I make sure she eats plenty before bed and no matter how short or long I let her nap during the day she still wakes up about every 2 hours during the night. This is my third child and I've never had this issue before. Should I just let her cry untill she falls back to sleep? Or is it that she wants to be heald all night and if so how do I break this bad habbit. Please no rude comments like I said this is my third so I'm not stupid, I just need more sleep

My 10-month old has no teeth yet, but in the past few minutes while I've been on the computer she keeps grabbing my hand and gnawing on my thumb?

I don't think I FEEL a tooth in there, but could this FINALLY be teething???

She's never bit before... is it a good idea to let her???

Our 4-month old daughter has a touch of nasal congestion to the point where at times she sounds like a chinese pug snorting. We have tried a very tiny squirt of saline up the nose a few times but doesn't seem to "get rid" of it. It doesn't seem to be getting any worse, but by the same token, it's not going away, either. Any suggestions?

Now he won't walk with his shoes on. I went to Nordstroms and had him fitted for his first pair of shoe to make sure I got a correct fit. But he hates wearing them. he cries when I put them on and trys to take them off. he won't even stand in them. What should I do?

My premature son has been taking aminophylline for apnea and bradycardia for several weeks now, and it's almost time for him to stop. I am a little nervouse about it, but my main question is, if your baby has taken it, did you notice a difference in their sleep patterns, as the medication is a central nervous system stimulant.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

how long did you wait after having baby yo have sex, i know you are supossed to wait 4-6 weeks.
some people wait longer some dont make the 4 week mark.

I have been to the doctor and I know that I dont have an std. I just had a baby 8 months ago. I have used the feminine douche and I cant figure out what it could be from. I just had a baby girl 2months ago and she was born 3lb 3oz.She now weighs 7lb.I breast fed her for 3 and a half weeks while she was in the NICU.Well she got used to the bottle b/c I wasnt there to feed her the milk all the time so they just put my milk n a bottle.Well they didnt try to introduce her to my breast until weeks later.She wouldnt except it.So they put her on this milk called Neosure for preemies by Similac.She has gotten really fat from what she was but they say that breast fed preemie babies get big what about formula fed preemie babies?

I woke up to the sounds of my 1 year old sobbing in her crib this morning. This is so unlike her- she usually wakes up laughing. I went and got her out of the crib and she wouldn't let me put her down for about an hour. If I put her down she'd scream. This is all so unlike her. Was this just a nightmare or something? Was she so traumatized that she wouldn't even scream out loud, just sit and sob and whimper? God, it was heartbreaking.
