You should not use douches. Your vagina is self-cleansing, and all the germs and bacteria come out on their own. By douching, you're taking water/vinegar (or whatever it's made of) and pushing everything right back up inside.
You said you went to the doctor and it's not an STD. Did he test you for a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis? They can cause odors.

It could be just the mixture of semen and vaginal fluid your are smelling. If you've been to the doctor and there was no sign of infection, then that is your most likely culprit. You really should avoid douche. The vagina is self cleaning, and that douche can throw off the balance of normal flora and pH that keep it feeling and smelling healthy and normal. Douche can do more damage than good.

it is probably bacterial vaginosis its very common i have had it several times usually after i get off my period and it does cause a smell after sex it is uncomfortable and i worry if he notices it doesnt cause pain or ich and u often have a discharge that is white and often watery as far as docs know it isnt sexually transmitted but you can get it from having multiple partners its easily cured with a week of pills he will subscribe go to the doc an tell him you think it may be bacterial vaginosis. it can often be confused as a yeast infection. also it may be all in your head my gynecoligist said we will notice any different kind of smell and can over exagerate it but men often dont knotice or care they seem to like our smell even though we often dont but hey i guess thats why they like us.. oh an try not to douche that pushes bacteria further up into your body and can cause more problems

Sounds like a yeast infection or something like that see the doctor again and talk more about it.....in the meantime just spray a summer eve spray before you have sex....DONT give up sex....remember to pee after sex to expel anything that doesn't belong up there....Good luck

You could be allergic to your husbands sperm. I know it sounds crazy but it could be that your chemistry and his don't work very well together. I would talk to you doc about that possibility.

You should tell your husband your concerns. I think it is stale semen. You should clean yourself after sex. You might have him try a condom and see if that helps any.
I don't think he would be complaining about it after sex.
